You just know “the left wants to make this about attacking religion” was a line he practiced in case he got called on spouting falsehoods. Jindal is treating Muslims much the same as Jews were treated by Germany in the lead up to WWII. He has an elected position of power, and is free to say whatever he wants against a religion that threatens his view of the way life should be. There is no shortage of people with his miindset who strongly believe that Muslims should be exterminated. Very, very dangerous people, all without a clue as to what they’re doing.
Jindals’ only real mistake here was failing to realize he was speaking to a British journalist. Had he been talking to the standard CNN American reporter they just would have nodded repetitively, taken down what he said, and then ran to the first liberal politician they could find to demand to know what is being done about the Muslim “no-go zones” and why the response was so slow to them.

True enough. In Britain, they actually talk back to politicians, cut them off, and demand replies when the politicians try to duck a direct question.
