Discussion: Blue Cross Blue Shield Lists 'Crucial Elements' Of Any Final O'Care Repeal

BC/BS is not a monolithic organization. It’s different in different states or regions. In Wyoming, it’s a nonprofit; I had it and it was great.

Doesn’t look like BCBS got the memo that Trump didn’t write.

My only question is when is Trump going to have Sessions lock up BCBS for treason?

In my 20’s BC/BS was the gold standard. This would be 1979/1980. Is it still true today?

The average employer as well as the federal government subsidize the health insurance premiums of their employees about 75%, which seems to be exactly the case for you.

BCBS, translated: “We want you to force people to buy our policies. We want you to pay us to sell our product to people. And we don’t want to have to pay to care for actual sick people.”

THIS is why there is no substitute for single payer. So long as we keep messing around with for-profit health care and allow insurance companies to be the gatekeepers, they’ll have zero incentive to do anything other than continually hike their prices. The only thing the ACA does is change which pocket the weregild is paid from.

Hey there BC/BS. You guys play all the sides of the street. Devin Nunes got a political contribution of $13,500 for the 2014 election and $11,500 for 2016, for nice round $25,000. What was THAT about?

Which other Representatives get your money? Why do you spend premiums on political contributions to a lizard like Nunes?

Please discuss.

There are some very simple solutions to the problems. Step one, the maximum copayment is $500.
Step 2 would be a maximum of 2500 a year of copays.
3. The maximum premiums set by congress and limited to 2% increase prer year.
