While in a vacuum I relish the notion of Donald Trump having to engage with an actual billionaire, and one who actually had a hand in building his own fortune, I have not one iota of interest in Candidate Michael Bloomberg, and “whatever it takes” isn’t a sum of money which could change my mind.
I’ve never understood why any politician would want to brag about the gazillions of dollars they have to throw into any campaign.
Just run and STFU about the cash you’re spending.

It sounds ridiculous, but he’s too short to be president. We don’t elect presidents that short.
I can’t understand why Democrats would vote for him in significant numbers when there are so many more progressive candidates. And Republicans are too far gone to ever vote for what passes as a “moderate” in Republican world. So, to me, he would need to run as an Independent. And that’s a long shot. Though I’m sure Wall Street would prop him up with hundreds of millions more.
Yes, spend your money to help elect Democrats, other then that we don’t need another Narcissistic Republican running as a Democrat. So if you’re not really going to help the Democratic Party as a donor, go away.

I don’t know if this psychological element will apply to woman candidates - it remains to be seen once we have more than one. It just might. It’s a power issue I guess, but the tallest candidate usually wins. Not always, but you can’t run someone as short as Bloomberg and expect to win the presidency. We just don’t seem to like that image - Tiny President.
If he could spend a huge pile of that in the primaries with issue ads to move the territory of policy discussions, that would be great. Otherwise it will suck.
For just $1 billion he can have my legs.
