He’s doing this as a personal favor to Neoconyahu.
Bloomberg is a Clinton ally, he would never sabotage them. I think this is a ploy him and the Clintons have concocted together to scare voters into voting for Clinton because he’s said that he’ll only run if Sanders is the nominee. Of course, that would hand the election to the GOP most likely. So this is a scare tactic IMO.

I’m not so sure he wouldn’t pull at least as many votes from Republicans. Perot helped Bill Clinton get elected (twice!) in the 1990s. Bloomberg could position himself as an alternative for Republicans who don’t like Trump (which is a pretty large group, despite Trump’s numbers in the primaries). Having said that, I still think he should stay the hell out of the race.
