I believe this qualifies as assault with a deadly weapon, as both vehicles were in motion at the time the handgun was brandished. There is a point at which this crosses over from political activity to criminal activity and this is it. Also, is it not a c rime in all states to cover up one’s license plate(s) to avoid detection while committing a crime? Nail these crooks!!

Hope they got the license plate. There’s a whole extra set of laws that apply to people who point guns at people while wearing a mask. I don’t know if Utah has an anti-Klan act, but the federal government sure does.

If a group of black kids here in Baltimore taped over their license plate, put on masksand pointed a gun at a federal official, there would be absolutely no chance that the government takes his friends’ feelings into account when deciding to bust down hard on every gang member they see in the area.
