So who is going to tell him he didn’t have the power to “You’re Fired” Comey before his meagerly attended inauguration? Are they drawing straws at the WH or playing tag you’re it?

She fucking gets it. Don’t let those old set in stone white men roll you. And the clock will keep ticking just like it did for Merrick Garland.

Sorry to say, but anonymous death threats are the go to method to communicate with someone you know is right. Even weasley Don Jr that paragon of virtue has weighed in against her.

Respectfully -

Sounds like you’re bestowing a unwarranted level of respect for repugnicans in so far as they really give a shit about how they’re viewed by any VOTER other than the dumbasses and greedheads who already support them. And there is ample evidence that those supporters will provide more than enough money to BUY the policies and lickspittles to enact the radical agenda that they’re are pursuing.

There’s NO evidence that ‘public opinion’ or MSM criticism will affect them because they all live in their Bullshit Bubble.

(Mr. Rick Jones puts it quite concisely and accurately.)

Could she force an investigation by filing a complaint in Maryland? The last sentence of the second to last paragraph of her attorneys letter to Grassley leaves that path open. She is referred to as a “sexual assault victim” and looks forward to working with Law Enforcement. My understanding is that Maryland has no statute of limitations for assault.

I agree with you on every other topic they’re discussing - just not this one.

Those are the Rs choices, lose one way, lose another different way, and each delayed day means some amount of lost Senate support. It won’t be significant, but they know people, esp. women, are watching very carefully. For incumbents running for reelection, it could be the deciding factor.

The Washington Post article on Sunday says that Dr Ford named all four people at the party. Kavanagh, Judge, and the two others, left unnamed in the article but definitely named by Dr. Ford. Has anybody tracked these other two down yet?

Clinton lost to someone who was elected illegitimately. She has every right and obligation to point this out as often as necessary. But you think it’s all about putting Feinstein in a bad place and HRC is making you queasy. It must be difficult to watch a couple of strong women fuck with cowardly men.

That’s where the FBI comes in.

I agree with you.

Actually, the LAST PERSON who should be talking about this, in my not very humble and very opinionated opinion, is Linda Fairstein, the former Head of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Sex Crimes Unit, who supervised and grandstanded her way through the railroading and false convictions of The Central Park 5. And then wrote a self congratulatory autobiography.

Yet this is who two Washington Post reporters are raising up today as an expert on how sex crimes should be investigated, and who is being given a platform in order to once again promote herself and inject herself into the Brett Kavanaugh hearings.

In researching Linda Fairstein’s role, I came across this 2012 article from Jared Kushner’s New York Observer. It is accurate, quite miraculously, and fails to note, critically or otherwise, Donald Trump’s very prominent role in demonizing the 5 youths of color who were manipulated into false confessions (an extremely common problem in our criminal investigations nationally) and tried, convicted and served most if not all of their respective sentences. The Mothers of the accused were portrayed as cooks in Rupert Murdoch’s New York Post, which also lionized and fawned over Fairstein and the NYPD as she railroaded the defendants while totally foregoing a fair investigation that might have caught the actual culprit. .

“Ford named two other teenagers who she said were at the party. Those individuals did not respond to messages on Sunday morning.”
