Discussion for article #243145
Okay, Hils: youâre the front-runner? Nail this racist bullshit to the GOPâs forehead. Show us.
Obviously a BLM âFalse Flagâ operation⌠/s
Thank God nobody was killed, but if the Republican candidates continue to incite it is only a matter of time.
They were âallegedly shotâ? Surely one can tell. Perhaps shot by alleged white supremacists? Still a terrible thing and in our current political climate, tragically, not surprising
Oathkeepers? KKKlansmen? Trump supporters? Or as I like to think of them, the new GOP base.
Fucking inbred Fox watching tin foil conspiracy racist asshole white trash.
Native Americans - Eliminated, those Remaining Confined to Reservations
African Americans - Enslaved, then Segregated through Jim Crow laws
Mexican Americans - Deported & Segregated
Chinese Americans - Deported & Barred from Employment
Japanese Americans - Incarcerated in Internment Camps
Weâre not a racist nation?
Agreed. Once she is sure of the basic facts, she should make a strong statement. There is a fine line hereâthough I do believe she is capable of walking itâbut she needs to exhibit a heartfelt concern for the people, the truth and then point out the current climate being created (and mocked!) by some.
Same goes for Sen. Sanders.
Masks? Ooh, how brave of them.
There is no allegedly about it. The counter protesters claimed to be White supremacists. We need to start taking people at their words.
Itâs worse than reported. Large numbers of LGBT people were having a tailgate cheering party on nearby rooftops, rejoicing in the shooting of the Black Lives Matter crowd. I saw the newsreel.
Obviously gay.
TrumpâŚthe rest of the KraziesâŚFOXâŚTalk RadioâŚblogsâŚnon-stop filth.
What do people expect?
Dr. Coyote is right. There is a leadership vacuum. Forget about the Republicans. The Rump of America will be just fine with their Hate.
There truly needs to be an awakening. On multiple levels. Bernie? Hillary? sure. The Repubs? Forget itâŚand that means instead a campaign to alert as many of the 60% who refrain from voting as to why non-voting is as damaging as Granny and Gramps voting Bagger⌠In my mind, only two types of social structures exist to do this alerting process.
(a) A Manhattan-type Project
OR
(b) Something Madison Avenue would do. Madison AvenueâŚthe people who convince everyone to want a new cell phone the week after they buy the last one
Anyone reading what I have outlined below will see that it is a daunting task. How does one adequately encapsulate a powerful message which can appeal to a mass audience dealing with such an overwhelmingly complex topic? And it IS complex. There is a reason that the educational and intellectual level of sites like this one are so high and Bagger blogs are so knuckle-dragging.
But one thing is clear: Debbie Wasserman Schultz and people like her are not the answerâŚ
For non-voters, this is a good starting pointâŚ
You are voting anyway, whether you like it or not
Large societies like ours need large social structures. They are either going to be accountable to the people, represented by a duly elected government or accountable to stockholders. The societies which have been shown to be the most responsive to the needs of their populations are those which have avoided the extremes of total government control of these structures or total private-sectors control of these social structuresâŚwhat people called âmixed economiesâ. Your non-vote exacerbates the loosening of representative-government influence of private social structures and institutions accountable only to their owners. And these private social structures can wreck your life on a daily basis:
- Big Pharma
- Big Health Insurance Companies
- Big for-profit higher education
- Big banks and Wall Street
- Big Communications organs (the Fourth Estate is on life support)
- Big Utilities
and more⌠And non-voting doesnât mean that you are absent from society (although all this âpoliticsâ stuff sounds like something definitely to be avoided). What non-voting means is that:
(1) You are STILL on the social scene as ill-paid labour (labour unit)
(2) You are STILL on the social scene as consumer unit and you are going to have to consume, because, unlike TeaBagg dogma, you (whether âwhiteâ or ânon-whiteâ) are not a hermit.
Sadly, its almost inevitable when you have a presidential front runner condoning violence against Blacks for daring to protest him. Nor do I think the rhetoric is going to cool down anytime soon.
Trump is a genius at publicity. Heâs figured out no matter how offensive or outlandish his statements they serve to keep his name out there, every day. He has starved every other candidate of any attention, at all. And any publicity is good publicity if your only purpose is to be the lead story every day on the campaign trail. If claiming the moon landing was a fraud garnered him Page One heâd do it, fallout be damned, itâs one more day Cruz and Rubio stay in the background, and one day closer to the primaries. Since itâs by now obvious he pays no penalty for lying why stop?
Youâre right. They wonât be happy until lynching returns.
TERRORISM. THIS is the face of terrorism: White, overweight, red-in-the-face delusional, armed to the teeth by our negligent gun laws and out of their everloving fucking minds over the âbrowningâ of Amurikkka, which they fervently believe was âsupposed to be a white people country.â Period. End of story. TRUTH.
Hillary and Sanders need to call it out as such and point out the statistics that show THISâŚOUR OWN PEOPLEâŚare more likely to kill innocent Amurikkkans than radicalized Muslims.
You get a âLikeâ for the pic alone.
Not mentioned in this article, the encampment theyâre staying at is right near the police station, yet according to the BLM protestors, it took the cops a long time to respond.
Great post!
