Sounds reasonable to me.

There was something informative about human nature in the attempts to lay blame for the '94 crime bill, mass incarceration and the racial disparity in the prison population at Hillary Clinton’s feet during the primaries.

I think this is a good sign. It won’t change who votes for whom in a significant way, but it’s one of those signals for the future administration.
