Get used to it, rentacop. More and more that’s what legislators will look like.

After multiple incidents the noteworthy aspect to this is she has yet to be shot, or at minimum thrown to the ground, tazed and jailed. The cops are probably waiting for her to fail to signal a left hand turn into the Lady’s Room. Then, BLAM, BLAM, BLAM!!

The overt racial bias is a hallmark of Trump’s version of America.

I hope we’re all enjoying Robert’s post-racial "Merica.

I think her comments are a welcome departure from rich, white, heterosexual, Republican men carrying on like they’re the victims of anything whatsoever.

Just like Obama! A lot of people thought he looked too young to be an American.

We need a Congressional inquiry into institutional racism in America. If you’re black you are treated as an alien in this country.

If old, white legislators had been subject to this constant barrage of racism we’d have had hearings long ago.

We don’t need the current congress conducting an inquiry into instituional racism in America. It would necessarily conclude that people of color brought all that resentment on themselves by stowing away on ships and taking unpaid work away from honest white settlers.

Carol Moseley Braun had this problem in the US senate.

Considering that Rump enjoys an approval rating somewhere between 38 to 45% (depending upon who the pollster is) that doesn’t seem to move much, your suggestion is never happening. To sane and rational people, his approval rating should be practically non existent. Instead, it reflects a significant part of country that just doesn’t believe racism is a problem.

Or, that it exists at all.

OT I spoz, but years ago when I worked in a high security intel operations center, our security guard was a moron.
One day I cut out a small head shot of Sgt Rock from the comic book of the same name. I stuck it over my photo on my badge, walked right through the gate no problem. I wore the badge throughout the day provoking laughs.
I probably could have put Khrushchev’s picture there with the same result.

I seem to remember a story just like this about a female African-American legislator not allowed into Congress some years ago along similar lines of rationale. This is certainly not the first time this has happened. Wonder if I can find that older story…
