Discussion for article #234253
“We’re supportive of safe and effective vaccinations. We’re not anti-vaccine. We’re pro-informed-consent,” said Vern Saboe, a chiropractor from Albany who testified against the Oregon bill.
Chiropractor… those are the guys that think spine misalignment causes diseases like cancer, right?
Read The Great Influenza by John M Barry.
…if you dare, AntiVaxxers
Personally I think it should be left up to the individual to decide whether or not he or she drives blindfolded.
I certainly shouldn’t be forced to subject myself to an uncomfortable and expensive examination of my eyes by a so-called “doctor,” and have expensive medical devices or, worse still, surgical procedures to correct so-called “vision defects” imposed upon me as a precondition to getting a license to drive. It’s a violation of my sacred right of personal choice.
Aaaaah, Oregon…land of the hipsters…whose wanna-be beatnikism compels them into an unreality of nihilist libertarianism and snide condescension towards knowledge and non-home-brew. I’m almost tempted to encourage them not to vaccinate.
