Then pass a bill shielding teachers who use deadly force against any Texas legislator who they believe is threatening school property. You know, since it’s just an elaboration of law that already exists.

So this was the real reason that the TX legislature passed a bill saying teachers should have a gun in the classroom. Now we have the purpose of that bill. Cut down on vandalism. It usually takes just one bill for most lawmakers.

Let’s think about this. So if even well-trained cops are easily offended or scared and start killing unarmed citizens, how much more often would this happen with teachers who lack the same firearms training?

When the guns start blazing and kids get caught in the crossfire, is that just collateral damage? Watering the tree of liberty?

Parents are OK with putting their children in harm’s way like this?

School is day care for many working parents. Tejanos know the teachers have progressive beliefs; otherwise they would not devote themselves to public service. They really don’t want their kids to learn anything at school. The schools can do anything they want as long as they don’t send the kids home.
