Discussion: Bill O'Reilly Unclear As To Why Beyoncé, Jay Z Support Black Lives Matter

Discussion for article #238871

OMG, there is hope to end racism in America! O’Reilly sees Jay Z and Beyonce’ as fellow rich people rather than blacks. He sees past their skin color to what matters–their wealth.

“Do you think they know what they doing?” says the completely cluless, racist blowhard. Maybe he can whitesplain it to them.

What I want to know is why O’Reilly believes that Black lives don’t matter…but I suspect that I know the answer to that.

O’Reilly’s unclear as to why anybody would care about anybody other than themselves, when it comes right down to it.

Anybody who’s not an IDIOT knows that Bill O’Reilly knows a lot more about being black than any of these black people do. OK? And you don’t agree I’LL SHOUT YOU DOWN and shut you up. Shut. Up. SHUT UP!!! We’ll do it live… WE’LL DO IT LIVE! FK IT! DO IT LIVE… look, I’ll write it and we’ll do it live! Fking thing SUCKS!

O’Reilly said he had invited Beyoncé and Jay Z to explain why they gave money to the movement.

“Do you think they know what they doing?” O’Reilly asked.

I would say on the first point they don’t have to explain to you how they choose to spend the money they have earned. The have zero obligation to explain themselves. On the second point it’s incredibly patronizing to pretend as if someone is incapable of understanding the motives of a group or movement simply because YOU disagree with it. As if you can not be educated, and well informed if you support something he does not.

Every now and then though he does get surprised. Like at that restaurant in Harlem where people weren’t cussing and screaming. It was shocking to him.

“an anarchistic group like this that wants to tear down the country and talking about genocide, really extreme things?”

People like O’Reilly have white supremacy so deeply embedded in their subconscious that they feel threatened just uttering the phrase “Black Lives Matter” without a caveat. He’s resorting the Worthington’s Law as a defense mechanism.

Maybe it should be #O’ReillyDoesn’tMatter.

Yes, Billo. They know where the contributions are going…

They’re intelligent, sentient beings.

That’s an excellent point by O’Reilly, as usual. Clearly, if anyone understands what Black Lives Matter means and does, it’s gotta be O’Reilly rather than Jay Z and Beyonce.

I hadn’t heard of Worthington’s Law, looked it up. PERFECT! It’s the conservative/Republican argument against anything not led by a Koch brother or Trump (or promoted by anyone at Fox News).

Thanks.

Possibly #EmptyAmmoClip ?

Somehow O’Reilly misreads every single aspect of this story. What am I saying? Of course, he did.

Sure! Come kiss their Blk*ass - Billo is such a waste of physical matter

Apparently famous black people are too famous to care about the lives of not so famous black people. I too like the Worthington’s Law application to Billo’s comments. He is just playing to the bubble brained Know Nothings that make up the Fox Nation.

pa friggin lease anything and i mean anything those on the left do is either radical or extreme wether it be black lives matter, climate change or safe drinking water for children

And not to mention, BillO’s just trying to garner a few ratings points by having way more talented and popular people on his show.

I just saw it for the first time myself the other day and it makes so much sense.
