Tang.
Dang, that makes a point! Way to go, Bill!
Yeah, but that is kind of backwards. Note that he is not saying he will support Bernie. Only that if Bernie wins, then Bill will move to make it unanimous by acclamation afterwards.
Still, it should knock Susan Sarandon and her ilk back on their heels a bit.
Of course. NOW Ms. Sarandon…it’s time to step up and vote DEMOCRATIC…otherwise your support for Bernie is tepid at best and uneducated and moronic at worst.
Nah. None of these “Bernie or NOBODY” people have that much self-awareness. They are too busy navel-gazing to see what is happening around them.
It’s all about THEM after all.
Pledging your support after he wins the nomination is…kind of anticlimactic, isn’t it?
Doesn’t he mean he will support Sanders if Sanders is the presumptive nominee?
No, he exactly does NOT mean that. Just that, if Hillary ultimately loses, he will help unify the party. Which is something that Bernie’s supporters are threatening to do the opposite of.
I think he meant that if Bern wins the pledged delegate vote,he would vote as a superdelegate for his nomination.
If Bernie is the nominee, there’s no point in Clinton pledging his vote to him. It’s after the fact. He’s giving the impression, very cleverly, that he will support Sanders if Sanders is the presumptive nominee. But what he in fact said was the if Bernie already were the nominee, he’d vote for him.
Is he talking about his general election vote, or his superdelegate vote? The headline says “superdelegate vote”.
If he’s talking about the general election, then he’s behaving exactly like every Democrat should, including the very privileged, unlikely to be affected by whoever is president, Susan Sarandon.
I believe he is referring to both his convention vote and in the General.
Let us now see if Bernie and his voters will do the same
This! So far, Bernie supporters are quiet which speaks volumes. Ball is in their court.
agreed. He’s just saying the right thing, and why not? Susan?
This is aggregiously reasonable! Who in the hell does he think he is?
Yes. If they do write-ins for Bernie, their votes will be wasted and could help propel a Republican to the White House.
Sort of like the 2000 election with Nader. I’m looking at you, Florida.
I am pleased. A couple of things.
-
Bill is doing what comes off as responsible. “Establishment” even!!!

-
One can imagine, in looking at this as a contrast, just how much the GOP honchos LOATHE Trump
An utterly non-controversial position.
Dude…this is Florida. We have other things going on.
A woman drove topless THROUGH a Waffle House. Yeah, they don’t have drive throughs.
Or as the headline read in the local paper here, “Owner says pet goat died in sexual attack” And it wasn’t the first time that happened at that particular location, either.
So, seriously…what can you expect from down here?
But we DID choose Hillary over Bernie by over 60%.
