I really canât believe how awesome it is - the people who take the food to people love what they do and the people getting the food and the company are thrilled. A lot of elderly people are very lonely and sad and the fact that other people enjoy doing something about that is so wonderful.

As for how he fits into Trump-world, so far Trumpâs military interference has been mostly posturing, along with a missile strike and an ill-advised raid. So maybe Mattis is protecting them⌠or maybe he, they, and all of us, have been very lucky this moronâs immediate surroundings are filled with morons who are just as prone to self-inflicted scandal, and he hasnât had the time to look at military action for his entertainment.

I used to be a substitute for them in Austin. Now Iâm a recipient, and all five of my regular deliverers are best buds with Polly. One brings treats every Wednesday. All of them know all the pets on the route, and have pets of their own. The food is the least of it. Watching Polly dance to the door, arthritis and all, warms my heart.

My focus was obviously more narrow. As a boy, my father went through a rigorous boot camp, got on some god forsaken transport, and wound up in Germany to fight for a quarter of the globe.
Trump certainly has no right to associate himself with those men. Iâm glad I didnât have to put my life on the line like my father did, like friends of mine did in Vietnam, like brothers deployed to the forgotten Mid East war.
To have people like Trump, and Kelly, and the Republicans claim to represent them is an abomination in the eyes of Lord, and every fucking conservative who still has a shred of honor knows it.
