Discussion: 'Big Fat Liar': WaPo Reports On White House Staff's Frustration With Kelly

It’s remarkable how many relatively stand-alone damaging stories/story-families that have come out against Kelly in the last week or two, any one of which was individually damaging enough it seems like it would probably sink him.

That man must be absolutely fucking miserable to be around and to work with.

There’s a lot of competition for the biggest and fattest liar in the WH

Those of us who knew John Kelly back in Allston, Mass. growing up know that he’s always being fast and loose with the “truth”. The amazing thing is he rose to the rank of General in the US Marines…Kelly was a thug and poor student in high school.

John Kelly is NOT smart…let’s get that straight and clear. If our military has people like Kelly at the General level, we are in big trouble.

The number of scandals this WH has been/continues to be embroiled in is mind-boggling. I sure hope the Democrats count them up and make it widely known during their campaigns. I mean, this is nothing compared to Obama’s salute with the coffee cup, but still …

A senior staffer who’s a “big fat liar”? I would have sworn that’s Trump…until I remembered he’s a “big, barely obese liar”, according to his recent physical.

“White House chief of staff John Kelly, whose handling of the scandal has come under intense scrutiny, is a ‘big fat liar,’ one unnamed White House official told the Post…”

More than willing to work for the “big fat liar” in the Oval Office.

Just not willing to work for the “big fat liar” a few doors down from him.

Many were convinced that Kelly was going to bring order, professionalism, and focus to the White House. Once again, the mask has now been ripped off revealing the true face of the Trump administration.

“To put it in terms the general would understand, his handling of the Porter scandal amounts to dereliction of duty,” the source added.

Considering Kelly is a military man, this is a real punch to the gut. Hard to think of a worse insult directed towards a general.

"Big Fat Liar"

That moniker can broadly applied throughout this crooked administration.

Look, it’s not like somebody becomes a general for being honest and forthright and taking responsibility for your screw ups.

…asked if Kelly could have been more truthful about the scandal, said: “In this White House, it’s simply not in our DNA. Truthful and transparent is great, but we don’t even have a coherent strategy to obfuscate.”

That is perhaps the best description of this Administration to date: “We’re not even competent enough to lie coherently…”

Wow. Wow. Wow. And. This. Person. Works. There. Why do they work there? To polish the 'ol resume with this gig? Sorry, Anyone that stays at this WH will be forever tainted and no reputable company would ever hire anyone with that on their resume.

One unnamed White House aide told the Post that Wray’s testimony was “a killer” and, asked if Kelly could have been more truthful about the scandal, said: “In this White House, it’s simply not in our DNA. Truthful and transparent is great, but we don’t even have a coherent strategy to obfuscate.”

This is an incredible statement, an unbelievable confession. In a normal Administration, this would merit the “death penalty”, but in Trump world, it’s business as usual.

You know, mastering the subtle act of lying is actually an art. Keeping a straight face, mastering the tone of voice, keeping your eyes from giving you away. I feel bad for all those conmen out there who’ve done the hard work of lying to our faces so exquisitely, and now have to be subjected to the harsh, obvious grating lies of Trump and his fools.
