Good Lord…the story could just as easily have said, “Biden is known for speaking often and putting people at ease with humor one might expect from a Dad.”
Wouldn’t it seem odd if every HRC story mentioned her Bosnia airstrip gaffe or her McCain approach to Syria?

Crazy uncle Joe uncle says the darnedest things. You have to be careful where you invite him, but we still love him.
I’d rather have Vice President Biden saying his job is a bitch as opposed to Cheney who told a Senator to go fuck himself.

And really, there wasn’t anything gaffe-like about this, so I really don’t see why the “Biden makes gaffes” meme was even included here. He said something funny that made the crowd laugh. That’s not a gaffe.
Biden talks like a real human being instead of a preprogrammed robot. I fail to see how that’s a bad thing.

In this usage, “bitch” is not a gaffe. It’s a well-known slang term for anything difficult or unpleasant (as in “the math test was a real bitch”). There’s no need to blush or gush over it. It’s just the way people talk.
