Discussion for article #240803
…equally committed to the scanty [sic] of life…
Either a bad typo or perhaps referring to the few remaining NRA “Democrats”
This is what is called being “pro-choice.” I think most of us are “pro-life.”
The Democrats ARE the pro-life party (government assistance when needed, supporting living wages and working conditions, preventing climate disasters, diplomacy before war, etc.)
The GOP is only the “anti-abortion” party (and then ignore, if not obstruct, living people with needs).
I guessed they meant “sanctity.”
Me too. I’m just being a curmudgeon.
Thank you! I was thinking that I agreed with the idea but I couldn’t quite formulate exactly what I was trying to get at. I was sort of going around and around in my mind. You put it perfectly AND succinctly.
What does NOT have a place in the Democratic Party are the forced birthers.
“Pro life” is pro choice. Every life has a choice
Couldn’t agree more, Hoagie. As a man, I’ll never know what it’s like to be the one who must carry out a pregnancy. I personally believe I am pro-life in the sense I’m not sure I’d have an abortion – but that decision would be so conditional in so many ways. I am not of the mindset that I should make this kind of decision for another person. It is a very personal decision, whether or not to start creating or add to existing offspring.
Vice President Joe Biden is a good man in so many ways. Personally, I believe Biden would make an excellent President.
