Discussion: Biden (Once Again) Predicts The GOP Will Eventually Have An 'Epiphany'

And it will be: “WTF was in that orange kool-aid?”

This is one of the reasons I don’t think Joe is right this election. He really thinks Trump is the problem and not just a symptom. Trump, as bad as he is, simply reflects the modern GOP. He is just the front man.

This after what they did to Obama?

Battered wife syndrome.

Idiot.

At lest one person is out from my list of potential Dem Presidential candidates.

You can’t spell epiphany without pfffft… Well you can, but that’s still my reaction … pfffft.

Fuck his Republican friends. He is in the wrong century.

Actual photo of the Republican ‘Epiphany’.

And, sorry, but what does this epiphany look like? Is it that they’ll all start voting with the Dems? This is more than highly unlikely.

They had their epiphany years ago when they realized that Nixon’s biggest weakness was his sense of shame. Once they realized that any sense of integrity would only get in the way of their goals, they became unstoppable. I doubt any new epiphanies will be coming to them any time soon.

The Republicans already had their epiphany when they got away with taking a crap on the American electorate for 16 years in a row under Bush and Obama, successfully stealing a seat on the Supreme Court and having the worst human being ever elected to President win the election in 2016 on a technicality call the electoral college. If they have any more epiphanies we might all die.

I’d be curious to hear him explain how Merrick Garland comports with his Trump syndrome theory.

Dude’s offering platitudes when his constituents want a head on a platter.

Ok, but consider this may be his way of broadening his electorate. I just read a poll that showed a majority want Dems and GOP to work together. Joe knows very well what today’s GOP is and does, but if he went in blazing fire at them at every chance, that may hurt his chances (in a general). His tack is to say “I can work with GOP and get things done, because they will come to me.”

[That being said, Joe is not my 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice, but he’s not my last either]

Nicole Kidman will eventually have an epiphany and run to beg me to be with her for the rest of our lives.

By the way has any Republican ever said similar things about Democrats? They do not have to, because Dems always accept what Republicans want. Most important exhibit: Obamacare.

That’s the basic problem here. DC Dems have friendly personal relationships with their Republican colleagues and view their actions as Senators as part of a game that doesn’t affect them personally. They “feel the pain” of Republicans in power more than they do of the vast majority of people out here.

Biden’s epiphany theory is not only stupid or dishonest–it’s dangerous.

It will take decisively making Trump a one-term President for that to happen.

Get the hook and yank him off the stage.

He’s right. The question is whether any of us will still be alive then.
