Very well said. The implications of Trump’s scurrilous attacks on Judge Curiel are frightening. It’s not an overstatement to say they threaten the underpinnings of our democracy.

Maybe Joe should reup for VP again? He’s damn good at it.

More of this please. But instead of doing this at a friendly lawyer confab… get yourself booked on Jimmy Fallon and do it there.

People are talking much about Warren’s speech yesterday (which was great – a total, brutal smackdown), but I would strongly recommend Joe’s speech as well. He did it in his usual style, which is quite a lot different from Warren’s fiery one, but I find in a way his speech more powerful with depth and insights.

Either Mr. Trump … doesn’t understand because this is in a realm he’s never dealt with before, or he doesn’t care that would it border on an impeachable offense for a president actually to use the great powers of the office to attempt undermine a federal judge by placing pressure on that judge in any case," Biden said.

Unprecedented indeed.

Biden: Trump’s comments “reprehensible” and “racist”.

We should never, ever judge others by their ethnicity.

Instead, we should judge them only by the length of their fingers.

Their stubby, tiny, vestigial fingers on their stunted, little, baby-like hands.

I swear I remember a time when presidential elections only felt like existential crises rather than actually being existential crises.

C’mon, Joe…Trump’s supporters aren’t going to care about “racist.,” and the other two words they’re not even going to understand.

First, Senator Warren smashed dRumpf’s balls with a 20lb mallet, then Hillary eviscerated Mr. Tangerine Man and now VP Joe Biden crushes dRumpf under his heel like a half-smoked cig. Nice.

Absolutely!

And they are just getting warmed up!!

Glad that the general election has finally started.

Just visualize Hillary Clinton debating dRumpf, and working a John Barron or John Miller quote into a jab at him…and the audience erupting in laughter while Donny’s shade goes from orange to deep red. It’s surreal.

Compare this line up which is only in its early stages and will eventually include lots of Democratic senators and governors to the R’s nameless nominee who will have hordes of Twitter followers hitting the ether on his behalf…

There was also Joe’s remarkable open letter to the rape victim whose attacker received a very lenient sentence. About a dozen members of the California State Assembly are calling for a review of the judge’s conduct and are asking prosecutors to seek a stricter sentence citing misconduct.

Yes, I read the letter, and my eyes welled up. Joe “gets it” 100%. Profoundly. And without the victim’s letter there might not have been the move by members of CA State Assembly. She did change and save others’ lives.

Gotta share this.

Very powerful, as was “Emily Doe’s” brave statement.
