I love Joe.
I pray he is not on the 2020 ballot. Hope over fear, yes. But someone who can use our legal framework to not just prosecute the current corruption but also inoculate us against this happening again — I just don’t think that Biden is tuned into the severity of the threat.
He looks markedly older in the last 2-3 years. I can’t imagine he would have the energy to run for President, even if he wanted.
It’s the small hands.
I tend to agree that Joe should not run. But consider the current occupant and his qualifications.
One way or another, I want Joe to stay in the public view. He is our poet laureate of snark. Something I think is needed in these times. Obama is not too shabby at that as well by the way.

tRump always has been obsessed with size, biddest this, tallest that, etc, etc Even immediately after 9/11 he crowed that he now owned the tallest building in NY. The obsession with size I have always acquainted with small in some form, small mind, small personality, etc.
OTOH, Biden would make a great Secretary of State or UN ambassador when Dems regain the WH in 2020.
I adore Joe Biden – swear he was the best VP ever but do not want to see him on the ballot either. Any of a variety of senior statesman positions as suggested by other posters would be perfect for him. But not at the top of the ticket, for a whole variety of reasons, many of which have little to do with him personally, that is, we need a younger, less (Obama-)baggage-laden candidate…

I noticed that, seems the discussion pages will have a limited run this election day. Maybe the same “virus” as hit the pages a couple of days ago. At least it appears they have the “bad gateway” bug fixed, haven’t seen that one for a couple of weeks.
