Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Diane Feinstein, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton…and the rest of the very very rich Democratic establishment. Clean house…those are all Demopublicans. Their rhetoric plays to the working class while their actions are all right out of the McConnell Trump playbook.
Remember all those changes Obama talked up…and yet we didn’t get anything but empty rhetoric and Republican win after Republican win.
I’m warn out defending Schumer and Pelosi…it’s time for real change or just declare it a one party system…Republican white nationalism.
Of course there are plenty of bases for impeachment and removal right now. But 3 weeks before midterms, prior to any final Mueller report, is not a good time to call for impeachment. It’s just the politics of the moment.

Again, a Democrat (Biden, this time) brings boxing gloves to a gun fight. It’s unreal how willing Dems are to play nice with GOP scum. Holy crap, Joe, even if you had to say impeachment isn’t timely “yet”, you could list a few of the dozens of crimes Drumpf has already committed.

Talking about impeachment before investigation is political suicide, which is why Fox News has been running headlines about it every day. As folks may recall, the investigations thus far have not produced results that warrant impeachment. Was separating families horrible? Yes, but is it alone grounds for impeachment? Seems unlikely. And without overwhelming evidence of criminal acts there is no way he will ever be convicted in the Senate. To be convinced in the Senate public opinion will have to be overwhelming, leaving Republican senators no choice. This means we have to convince Republicans that Trump should be impeached. How do we do that? We investigate. We prove crimes. That’s how it is done. Trying to do it before that would be an empty gesture, a temper tantrum. And I seriously doubt the US would stomach a do-over impeachment.

The cynical part of me wonders if the media and Democratic fundraisers are just too attached the to money Trump brings in. Whether is one “breaking news scandal” after another or the countless requests to “fund the resistance” that I get - you can’t deny Trump is a cash cow.

Biden is right. Chatter about impeachment right now is counterproductive, it just stirs the GOP hornet’s nest and gets more of them to the polls. The only way an impeachment makes sense is if the Democrats have the House to impeach and a super majority in the Senate to convict.
