Discussion: Biden Asks Gingrich About Being VP: 'Gonna Do It?'

“Should I? Is it a good job?” Gingrich asked Biden in response.

It’s a temp job, it’ll be over in 4 months.

Should he do it? Just ask Carly Fiorina.

I, for one, look forward to the Trump/Gingrich golf course promotion and book signing tour. Has there ever been a VP candidate more attuned to the top of the ticket? Right down to the number of times divorced.

Edit: Come to think of it, has anyone actually seen the two of them in the same room? A little spray tan, switch toupee, and presto!

Both Biden and Gingrich spoke at the Aspen Ideas Festival in Colorado.

And no, I don’t give a sh^t how much they were paid to speak.

VP is a good fit for anyone who wants to be Trump’s lackey. Either Newt or Xtie would be perfect.

Even though I view certain things differently than I did in the 90’s, there’s no way to rehabilitate Newt Gingrich in my mind so I’m not even gonna try. He’s a fast talking hypocrite. A lying SOS. I’d rather see Christie if it came to it, even though it wouldn’t be logistically sound to some and Christie is somewhat damaged because of Bridgegate which showed him to be a petty and small minded individual. For Jeebus’ sake, don’t pick Palin. If I were Trump, I’d declare I don’t need a VP and continue on, or pick someone really hot and sexy who’s a great debater. Maybe Megyn Kelly?

…and the number of times each treated women like shit… or at least bragged he did.

Gingrich has publicly dissed Trump – so I doubt he is going to get the nod. I think it’ll be Christie. He was the first one to jump on the Trump bandwagon during the primary and has been a loyal surrogate.

With a big shiny “Trump” sign, which can be seen from Earth ?

Of course Gringrich will do it, like Trump he has no morals political or otherwise. He has been chomping his bit to get back into the limelight. The only question that remains, can two big egos share the same building?

“Should I? Is it a good job?” Gingrich asked Biden in response.

Depends on whether you 're waking up in the morning knowing your boss is working on making the world a better place, worrying that he’s gonna jump the rails and kill us all.

And if it’s an “Ideas Festival”, shouldn’t they have invited someone who has ideas? Gingrich hasn’t since proposing the term “Democrat Party” in the early 90’s.

Biden was referring to Newt’s ‘Melania or Bust’ tee shirt…

I could see Gingrich taking the calculated riskt in anticipation of Trump leaving (removed from) office and getting the job he actually wants.

In my mind, neither person is a serious politician at this point.

They run as grifters. To establish and promote their business interests, and what better way to not only get free publicity but to also make money in the process - then to run for President.

In that way, they’re perfect for each other.

For all those wingers out there who don’t remember or were too young to remember: Gingrich was the disgraced Speaker of the House who was forced out of the job by his own people for botching the Clinton Impeachment. I wouldn’t be so hot about having him as VP- or anything else for that matter.

Don and Newt on the same ticket, PERFECT IT, each are ULTRA-RACISTS, each have been marred several times and each ‘SAY THE DAMNDEST THINGS’.

Perfect matcj. SO WING-NUTTY-DELICIOUS.

Ummm…closer to seven months.

And these days, being in the same job for 8 years is a long-term gig!
