messages seemingly tailor-made to get under his skin.

Seemingly?? Putin knows how to push Trump’s buttons. And Trump doesn’t know how to properly respond so he turns on his own party.

I guess this means Russia isn’t paying for the wall.

Trump is officially a cuck. No one is scared of him. No one bothers to couch their disagreements with him in diplomatic terms.

He’s being cucked by Congress, by the Russians, and by his own staff. All he has now is his base and they won’t be able to save him.

Really starting to look like the beginning of the end for Trump.

This isn’t really much of a “hit back” against Trump at all. But I guess anything short of fawning praise is a “hit.”

Somehow I think invading its neighbors, interfering with our elections and those of our allies, and being a dangerous nuclear armed criminal mob in the guise of a government are more responsible than cutting off Russian government/mobsters from accessing their ill-gotten gains in overseas banks.

But maybe that’s just me.

“I think he signed it, didn’t he? “Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) told TPM with a smile when asked about the president’s tweet.

And he probably doesn’t understand what that means. I’m quite sure Bannon or Jared explained to him that a potential veto would almost certainly have been overridden, but he just has to sulk about being made to do it. He is truly a four-year old, masquerading as a 70-year old man. That’s what I call “sad!”

Seven months in, and the duck is lame…

… and I’m waiting for the “tapes.”

“We have bad relations with Russia because they’ve done bad things,” emphasized Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC).

Well duh.

“I think our strained relationship with Russia started in 1917, didn’t it? With the Communist Revolution?”

Actually it goes even further back than that. Nicholas I wanted us to intervene on Russia’s behalf during the Crimean War, and Catherine the Great, while she loved hobnobbing with intellectuals, was no fan of revolutions.

@zsak It’s not that he doesn’t know how; it’s that he can’t. He has never rebuked Russia or Putin since taking office - never. That kind of self-control is not natural.

Talk about having mixed emotions…on the one hand I’m depressed and worried that Trump and the Republicans control our government and may very well destroy American democracy and all the gains we’ve made over the last 80 years. On the other hand, I’m extremely pleased that I may witness the complete destruction of the GOP in my lifetime.

Hey, stop being mean to Donnie! He’s just defending his boyfriend Vlad like any lover would! It’s outrageous and frankly insulting that you Liberals would be so cosmopolitan and elite by suggesting that there’s something wrong with Donnie and Vlad’s relationship.

Well, if he turns on Pootie-Poot, then the pee tapes (and more) will be released.

Anyone know where I can get a deal on a ton of popcorn?

This could get interesting as Putin realizes he didn’t buy what he thought he bought?

I guess I’m glad that the GOP Senate is finally awakening to the idea that Putin’s Russia is not our most excellent and benevolent partner in international relations…I wasn’t so sure there for awhile.
