I hope someone has reported him to the relevant agency for child abuse.

So, will he be sending his kids to a small pox party and a Rubella party and . . .

What an idiot. “Daddy, why do I have pits all over my forehead?”

Let’s take this real slooooooowww Guv. It isn’t JUST the chickenpox vaccine we’re talking about here. There are MANY vaccines that the kids take before going to school so we can eradicate the disease. SOME of these diseases can KILL you…not just your kids at a ‘party’ but ADULTS. Stop being a dangerous, ignorant, simplistic moron.

What a nutjob! For some kids it causes serious illness and injury, even death. This is child abuse.

So it’s safe to say that Republican’s also send their children to stupid parties?

Inoculate the stupidity at an early age, so it has time to fester.

Meanwhile, Texas wants in on the idiocy.

The bill would stop the Texas Department of State Health Services from maintaining a record of those vaccine exemptions, reported fox4news. When passed, it will be more difficult to find the number of affidavit forms submitted, if a potential outbreak was caused by an unvaccinated child.

Why hasn’t he been arrested for child abuse?

Is it wrong of me to hope that Bevin dies of most horrible case of shingles the medical profession has ever seen?

I’m from the time before the chicken pox vaccine. Because of contracting the disease, I am now much more susceptible to shingles. I had a bout of shingles about a decade ago. It was horribly painful. I’m sure Bevin’s children will thank him when they are experiencing the same.

So no one has commented on the nine (9) kids yet?

With those genetics in play, talk abput adding to the welfare state.

Oh come on it’s only those smug elites who have their kids vaccinated! Governor Matt is such a man of the people that he sent all of his kids to a chickenpox party. /s

Yep, clearly to me a case of intentional child endangerment, a felony for which he deserves a criminal indictment. but, the USA’s judiciary is corrupted far right, so I expect to see NO justice. The fact that Trump hasn’t yet been indicted for “Incitement to riot” proves to me we are lost as a nation under any so-called “Rule of Law”.

People like Bevin are unhinged. I partly blame the need of politicians of nearly all types who have a reflexive need to proclaim the moral superiority of religion. The decades-long argument that religious beliefs are privileged has led to the rise of nuts like Bevin who feel free to substitute belief for reason.

Now we have a governor who has risen to his office because, in part, his religious identity is treated as some mark of moral fitness rather than evidence that he is morally, ethically, and intellectually challenged.

While in elementary school I knew a boy who lost his hearing due to high fever caused by chickenpox. He must have been 6 or 7 years old with a lifetime of silence in front of him. Why anyone would expose their children to the live virus is beyond my comprehension.

"This is America. The federal government should not be forcing this upon people. They just shouldn’t.”

For fucking fucks sake. That is all.

Me, too. My case of shingles was diagnosed fairly quickly and arrested with Valtrex, but I was still in abject misery for a week or so. I got the shingles vaccine and now I’ve had the new two-dose Shingrix vaccine.

Let’s hear it for the great Dr. Takahashi, developer of the chicken pox vaccine.
