Discussion: Bernie Sanders Raises $18.2 Million In First Six Weeks In Campaign

Has he shared his tax returns yet? Who are his policy advisors?

This $18 million makes Harris’ $12 million look that much better.

Fun fact: Pete Buttigieg won a prize and got to meet the Kennedys with a “Profiles in Courage” essay on Bernie Sanders. And now Bernie supporters are attacking him for being insufficiently gay, or having been a Rhodes scholar, or something.

Yep.

So far we have… Buttigieg, $7 million. Harris, $12 million. Sanders, $18 million. Buttigieg had a bit over 150,000 donors, Harris 218,000, Bernie had over 900,000.

Seeing how Health Care appears to be the big issue of the time, Which candidate is going to outperform Bernie on Health Care?

Tax returns are the big issue of the day.

Bernie promised his “very soon” over a month ago.

He needs to shut the fuck up about anything until he releases his tax returns.

All of them Katie. Hopefully.

I’d rather see Trump’s.

Please expound on that. I’m curious as to your logic.

I want both. And the Democrats are never nominating someone who doesn’t release their tax returns, not when we’ve been screaming for Trump’s for years now.

I assume he’s commenting that it’s only 50% larger than Harris’ take, even though Harris is starting way back in the field compared to Bernie (i.e. he already had the national name recogition and the donor database from 2016 to leverage, etc).

I doubt that he won’t release them. But if he doesn’t, he’s done.

He never did in 2016, kept waiting it out, then said it wasn’t relevant since he lost the nomination.

And now we’re waiting again, and it’s not like he’s even released older returns. Nada.

Joe Biden.

It does upset me as a Sanders and Warren supporter, that Bernie hasn’t released his tax returns yet. He can’t keep saying “soon.” Enough already!

I hope Sen Warren can survive. Biden’s decision (delusions) in the next couple of days will determine who can seriously afford to stay in the race. Getting nervous about it already.

One who can make a strong case for single payer, like this: https://www.bostonglobe.com/ideas/2019/01/18/elizabeth-warren-calling-for-medicare-for-all-what-does-england-experience-tell/ZEOIW6Una0GPwoldhm2iMN/story.html

is not actually a Democrat but shows up at election time trying to horn in on our party as he knows he can’t run as an Independent as he proudly proclaims.
Independent until he gloms on to our coattails

I don’t understand why Bernie hasn’t thrown his support to Liz?
