His margin of victory was lower than I would have thought. NYT says that with 92% reporting, he´s at 56.2% to 43.8% for Clinton. I would have thought it´d be closer to Idaho or Utah, but I have little sense of the demographics of Wyoming Ds.
Here are your demos:
Hell, if you’re willing to split up the list with me, we could probably call all of them up and ask them ourselves this afternoon.
Wyoming is like Idaho, but with less people, more cattle. Only about 500,000 people live there.
Looks like Sanders will end up with 8 delegates to Clinton’s 6.
That´s kinda what I was thinking. When I close my eyes and try to imagine a Wyoming D, I still see Liz Cheney.
The horror, the horror.
At best Sanders gets a 8-6 split on the delegates but depending on the final results, it could be 7-7.
I was going to guess 10 but it’s just over 41,000.
Hmm. Not a single county that has more Ds than Rs. I sort of recall that there was some union membership in some southern counties, but it´s either not that significant, or they aren´t that Democratic.
Wyoming delegates chump change.
Bernie Wins Again!
Networks continue to stir the pot.
Ironic- when Hillary is “projected to win” by the AP, the headlines read **“HILLARY WINS! LANDSLIDE!!!”
When Bernie is projected to win “Bernie projected to win BY SMALLER MARGIN THAN EXPECTED!!!”
Is there a subliminal message here? Is Bernie overshadowing Hillary? Does Clinton stand behind Sanders?
I am soooo confused!
So, basically a rounding error.
When does momentum actually get recognized around here?
Latest results indicate a 7-7 delegate split. This has to be regarded as a very positive result for Secretary Clinton.
A small number of delegates, but a significant tightening of the math. The climb for Senator Sanders just got steeper.
Confirmation bias: it’s not just for Republicans anymore!
No kidding. Am I reading the numbers correctly? Were there, as of about 5:30 eastern time, a total of 275 Democratic voters? Or is that some sort of delegate allotment? Why is it so difficult to find out the actual number of votes?
No no, it´s a caucus, and those are caucus delegates, or whatever the term is.
