I donated to Bernie, voted for him, volunteered to put out lawn and street signs for him, and spent primary eve at his regional headquarters. I will never vote for him again and I will do everything I can to ensure he is severely defeated. He and his supporters are the most vicious lying thugs I have ever met in a long political career. I was appalled when they shouted down Elijah Cummings at the nominating convention. I now hate Bernie and his supporters with a passion and now with an open wallet. Why do we let vicious lying scum like Bernie and his supporters steal our Democratic Party when they aren’t Dems. Screw Bernie and Double Screw his lying racist sexist thug supporters.
Because ultimately, for all his talk of socialism and sharing the wealth and concern and care for our fellow man, fairness, equity, equality and egalitarianism, Bernie Sanders is a deeply selfish, self-righteous, self-centered, arrogant and myopic fucking douchebag who we need to make a concerted effort to destroy in the primaries. Enough is enough. I’ve fucking had it with him. The pact should be made: no matter who you support, if it ain’t Bernie, then Bernie is enemy number 1 until the primary is over. It’s all about Bernie. I like some of his lefty ideas, but I like him less and less. I’m glad there are other choices now for primary voters who think the middle has moved too far to the right.

As if even the most compromised Dem would be worse on the environment, civil rights, voting rights, economics, etc. than Trump. Anything and everything that interferes with the simple formula by which the Dems took control of the House is going to be counterproductive. That simple formula is to point out that the Republicans are going to take away your Social Security and your health care. It’s as simple as that. Pushing for Medicare for all, a la Bernie, when we still are trying to save and make workable the Affordable Care Act/Obamacare, is going to simply give Trump and the Repubs fodder for pulling out the “socialism” card. They pull this crap out because it works. We already know very well that Obamacare is very popular and the Repubs, including Trump, tried over and over to defeat it. Why mess with this success? It won’t work, Bern.
