Discussion for article #236743
Bernie, you’re like a open window in a stuffy room. Go for it!
I was in a bar Saturday evening and CNN was on discussing Marin O’Malley’s entry. The little banner at the bottom of the screen declared that now Hillary had a challenger.
If there is one thing Democrats can learn from Bernie is his unequaled capacity to stay on message.
Sanders has my vote. He’s been right on every issue I care about.
Bernie has my vote. I want a President who will go for the throat of the GOP!
Well, he’s no George Bush. In that he understands how to use the English language.
I support Sanders’ agenda; he’s a great man. I understand your sentiment however I think it’s misplaced.
Any President (Dem) can go for the GOP’s throat but they, themselves, are going for their own throat. The fact that there’s a sizable (NOT a majority) of Americans who go along with the Rethug agenda is, in my opinion, the problem. The GOP doesn’t elect themselves; they’ve got this small army of horrifically stupid troglodytes who think that bringing back the glory days of the Confederacy is a great idea. As long as this small army exists, I don;t really know how far we can advance.
I love Bernie’s politics too. I would definitely prefer him to Hillary. But I would VASTLY prefer Hillary to ANY Republican.
Sanders is this year’s Kucinich. We need him to define a more progressive agenda.
But Sanders v. Bush would equal Another Decade of Oil Wars, tax cuts for the wealthy, and the end of Obamacare.
Clinton with Sanders as VP would be rather awesome though. The Repugs would never impeach or assassinate Clinton if Bernie was VP…
Never forget: This country very recently elected George W. Bush. TWICE!
Don’t underestimate the stupidity of the American Electorate.
“Don’t Underestimate Me’”
At least he speaks english as his primary language, unlike our lst REPUBLICAN president
