NOBODY has a political career as long as Sanders has or stays in the Senate this long without understanding the use of and being capable of underhanded politics.
It isn’t just that “everybody does it” (because they ALL do, including Hillary) it is the DOUBLE STANDARD that is applied by BernieBros to the candidates.
Bernie is lilly-white and PURE and can do no wrong. Hillary is consummate EVIL and can do no right.
This is a dangerous way to look at candidates, no matter WHO they are. It is the EXACT SAME THOUGHT PROCESSES that make Evangelicals blindly support Ted Cruz, or Racists support Donald Trump.
This is also why so many of the BernieBros hate Obama. He disappointed them and didn’t live up to the high-pedestal they put him on when he got elected in 2008. Horrors.
There is definitely a pattern. Some Sanders supporters/staffers seem to think anything is fair as long as their candidate wins. Bernie needed to get some control over his staff/supporters and hasn’t been able to do it so far.

Bernies apologies have worn thin. If he can not stop this unethical behavior within his staff why should anyone believe he is not complacent? Bernie is no beginner, he knows the ropes and he is using every dirty trick in the bag while trying to remain untouched by the actions. It is not working.
Why would he even want the endorsement of an “establishment” organization? American Legion is about as establishment as it gets. Maybe he can get a millennial veterans organization to support him?
Maybe they won’t after his VA committee time.

Using an organization’s logo without their permission, no doubt for the purpose of implying their endorsement, is wrong no matter who is raising the complaint.

Giving someone an award does not imply their political endorsement.
I mean heck my own Father has an award from the Amercan Legion… Does that mean they are endorsing him for president too, and that he can use their logo for anything he wishes regardless of the fact he doesn’t have their permission? Or is that only a Sanders thing?
And I didn’t see in the article where it suggested they had endorsed him? Only that the fliers used their logos.
Which, given that both gave him awards, may really be entirely legitimate.
