Why don’t they throw in the investigation of the IRS, and Obamacare in there too, that way we can get all the bullcrap out of the way and save money at the same time by doing three at one time. LOL. I mean that is all the house GOP talk about anyway. While they are doing the committee they can vote on repealing Obamacare for the 60th time too and save time and money. This could all be accomplished in one day because everything about the GOPs favorite topics has been gone over already a million times. Hell, why don’t they forget about the committee and just do what they really want to do anyway, just impeach President Obama and get it over with. We all know what this is about.

The investigation is enough of a joke, but to put Trey Gowdy at its head, is bordering on satirical.

And next- the Conservative select committee on Climate change headed by the Kochs, Rupert Murdoch, Hannity, a guy who owns a dump truck that he uses to dump used oil into remote back water areas and Lucifer. It’s impartial!

Word. This dude has a straight up mullet and, as another TPMer pointed out, looks dead up like the kid playing the banjo in ā€œDeliveranceā€.

All the gutless democrats have to do is flip the gop and Boehner the bird and let them go it alone, since its just a circus

Exactly, what I’m talking about, friend. They need to go full on Bachman aka answer questions the way you want to answer them even if your answer has not a damn thing to do with the question.

because democrats are gutless pussies too afraid to fight for what they believe in.

I wonder what five Democrats have to pull this latrine duty?

Democrats shouldn’t be participating in this travesty. We don’t need to be participating in the GOP-led House version of The Crucible. Republicans will just use Dem participation to demonstrate that the committee is ā€˜bi-partisan.’ Fck that sht.

Don’t forget the biggie…The one in NYC… You know…9/11… Where’s the investigation into that one??

Remember Richard Clarke??? Why did no one listen to him???

I’m not a conspiracy theorist… I’m just saying…

In all the coverage of this ā€œinvestigation,ā€ I haven’t seen anyone ask the families of the four deceased Americans how they feel about their loved ones being used for political gain. Do they really want this?

I can hear Boehner now, ā€œThere’s five too many Democrats, there’s five too many Democrats, there’sā€¦ā€

Well, I really wouldn’t boycott outright. It’s too good a chance to punctuate the point that Teabaggers don’t WANT the government to work and would rather waste everyone’s time. I’d have a democrat on the committee ask – who ever they call – ALL the questions the Teabaggers are going to ask; then answer every question with 'I gave my answer on such and such a date."

Then after he’s asked all of the Teabagger questions and it’s a Teabaggers turn, just do the same thing ā€œI already answered that question Representative so-and-so asked or or on such and such a date, Congressman. By the way, how many people are in your district who have no more unemployment benefits?ā€

Then when the next democrat comes up for questioning. He or she says, ā€œMr. Chairman this is a waste of time. I have constituents to attend to.ā€

THEN you ALL walk out in front of the cameras saying ā€œme too.ā€

Paul Krugman wrote in a recent column : ā€œā€¦there is no sign that they [Republicans] pay any political price when their accusations are proved false.ā€ He was writing about healthcare, but where the GOP is concerned, this statement is both universal and axiomatic. You can substitute for healthcare, ANY issue of national importance you want. The press and media are as irrelevant as they are craven and at least half the voting public are in an intellectual stupor. There is no balm in Gilead.

If any Democrats participate in ā€œBenghazi, Part Deuxā€, it should only be for opportunity for all of them to walk out in protest at the first hearing.

Buffoonery today, buffoonery tomorrow, buffoonery forever!
