In other words, because he refused to go along with the GOP smear job on Hillary. Impartiality =/= im’(proper)partiality.

How can this be?

We were told by McCarthy (in his walk-back attempts after accidentally telling the truth), and the entire GOP, that the work Gowdy and this committee were doing was beyond reproach.

Guess that utterance by McCarthy was not meant to be a factual statement.
