Discussion for article #239221

I think we have discovered someone who is not in good mental health.

I remember seeing a 60 minutes episode 15 or so years ago where he was interviewed at his home and his teenage son(s)? and friends were making bombs in the backyard with the use of the anarchist’s cookbook. For some reason it didn’t seem to bother him and for that reason it always stuck in my mind.

I thought Ben Stein was an economist. Now he’s Charles Krauthammer?

Any comparison of Ben Stein’s head and the contents therein to a dud artillery shell is an insult to defective, ogive-shaped, payload carrying, projectiles everywhere.

I forget why he’s allowed on TV. Anyone?

Iran doesn’t want to destroy America. This charge is preposterous. Moreover, Ben Stein is not a patriotic American. He’s a patriotic Israeli. He should make aliyah and move.

Stein will have to work at getting Krauthammers’s cadaverous wretch look a little better, though.

Lol, Stein needs his own mental health checkup.

“The idea of comparing loyal, patriotic Americans with mullahs and terrorists who want to destroy the United States, to destroy Israel, is incredible. It’s almost unbelievable.”

Does he ever watch Fox News when he’s not on it, babbling about something ?

I’d like to see Al Franken debate Ben Stein, not only for the carnage that would ensue but also because the name of the event would be awesome.

For monotone meister Ben Stein to remark that ANYONE is not in “good mental health” rings as hollow as would a remark by George W. Bush calling someone “inarticulate and stupid.”

THIS is the person remarking on ‘good mental health’?!?! LMAO

No. A lawyer, and a charlatan, but not an economist.

No, sweetheart, you are mistaken. You’ve confused a very clear Obama with your own reflection.

Now, go ahead and lie down. Maybe a glass of Sherry.

Now THAT’S the pot calling the kettle beige.

It’s kind of an amazing coincidence, right? That Ben Stein, an extraordinarily talent-poor hack of a half-wit, would descend steadily over the edge towards being irredeemably raving bonkers during the course of a Democratic presidency, fall into a tar pit of predictable stoopid right when that same president calls out the Republicans for being the traitors their own weird logic demands.

OTOH, I suppose it’s possible Stein was paid to say this nonsense.

this is so sad the man needs help won’t some of his friends find him a rehab place he can go and try to heal?

Send Ben and POTUS in for assessments and see who comes out with a clean bill of health. BS* goes on about individual responsibility to care for one’s self, but in other articles complains he can’t make enough money to support his son, a fully mature male.

*a most appropriate set of initials considering the owner.
