Between this and Comey’s Waltz, the Trump administration’s songbook is growing.
I hadn’t heard “Comey’s Waltz” before.
But, I can’t wait for “Trump’s Perp Walk.”
It’s likely to sound a lot like a Jimmy Kimmel Drunk Donald Trump treatment of “Baby Elephant Walk.”.
My new theory; tRump may eventually be seen as the best thing that has happened to our republic in a very long time…
…everybody’s getting WOKE!
I’m not sure that I agree with your theory, but I like your creativity.
That’s really egregious shorthand on my part…
Obama made a point in his first speech last week. That millenials are RIGHT NOW the largest voting block in the population.
That hit my VERY ACTIVE and politically aware (my 24 yo son can identify politicians by their voice alone!) kids like a ton of rocks! They tell me they don’t know a single person their age that is not registered and itching to vote (this Thursday here in NY) and send the clown in the White House packing.
As my daughter put it. “We never really knew anyone else (Obama) as president, and the pussygrabber in the White House is a disgrace that needs to be removed ASAP.”
It seems a LOT of folks are getting woke, seriously, hard-core WOKE!
I’m thinking we will have a HUGE blue wave, or real-time evidence and proof of conspiracy between Russia and republicans.
Not quite a win-win, but it will do…
Now that I can agree with wholeheartedly! Every bit of it!
This should be the soundtrack to Trumps’ Perp Walks.
Right on, the song captures the outrage I felt watching that “show” -
The wrestler from Ohio vs Mr. Peepers.
PS what are the chances that the wrestler from Ohio will lose his seat?
I liked having the explanation for how he creatively started the song - with imagery from Lord of the Flies. And then slotted Jordan into the theatric bully role.
Like you, I wish his chances at reelection were slim, but I haven’t heard such a thing.
Meanwhile it does sound like heat is ratcheting up against Nunes, so there’s that.
We need more music. Stuff that can sung by the crowd to a tune the Millennials will go for. We Shall Overcome is a dirge frankly.
Anyone recall Pink’s “Dear Mr President (come take a walk with me)”? Ballads don’t seem to cut it. Something more primal like War or We Will Rock You
Sounds like a great song. I’ve always thought Ben Folds was a really smart, highly talented musician. He seems like a good guy as well.
Wow, great song. Made me cry a little.
And who remembers Mister Peepers?
Yes, this will go over big.
Jeebus, pub, I hope you’re right.
1955’s Mr Peepers is way before my time. But 1938’s Jeepers Creepers is still in my knowledge bank; my mom used to sing it.
Another One Bites the Dust
