Holier vs AssHolier
“Certainly, we do not all worship the same God – we worship the Trinity
whom Muslims and Jews would deny,” the group wrote. “And, the idea that
we are all God’s children is at best the type of liberalism the
Conservative Resurgence sought to address, and at worst, it is
universalism.”
So you deny that Jews are God’s children then. These guys manage to make Carson look reasonable, which is no small feat.
Lord of the Flies of the Lord.
Dr. Ben Carson was left out of a Christian pastors’ conference earlier this year in part because his own religious beliefs deviated too much from Christian orthodoxy.
“Sorry! You’re not crazy and fanatical enough for us.”
"And, the idea that we are all God’s children is at best the type of liberalism the Conservative Resurgence sought to address, and at worst, it is universalism."
In other words : We’re right and everyone else is fu^*ed
The backbone of American theology: one cult calling another cult a cult.
Well if these religious folks cannot get along with each other just whom are they to get along with? So Holy Rollers drop the GOP’er / Dem thing. Just make sure the guy you are voting for has EXACTLY the same religious sentiments as you. You’ll need about 50 or more political parties to do that so get moving.
As a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Dr. Carson is publicly identified with theological positions that differ from those of Southern Baptists.
And the whole reason that there are Southern Baptists is that one of their theological positions held that Dr. Carson’s ancestor was livestock.
cult | kəlt |
noun
- a religious sect with little or no political influence
“Jesus was fully human and fully divine” Check
“Jesus performed miracles such as raising the dead, making the blind see, and feeding a crowd of a thousand using just a few loaves of bread and a few fish” Check
“The God of Abraham and Jesus are one and the same”. Check.
“Jesus died and was resurrected bodily into heaven.” Check
“We reserve Saturday as a day of worhip, as the O.T. requires” Whoa, whoa, whoa, buddy! Stop with the crazy talk! You are way off base.
When it comes to christians, none are as mean and hateful as the southern babtists and their animosity towards all who disagree is never in doubt or short supply. The fact that there are so many different sects of christians prove that christianity is a farce. There is only one theory on evolution but a million theories on religion and its all about what one believes.
Emo Philips:
Once I saw this guy on a bridge about to jump.
I said, “Don’t do it!”
He said, “Nobody loves me.”
I said, “God loves you. Do you believe in God?”
He said, “Yes.”
I said, “Are you a Christian or a Jew?”
He said, “A Christian.”
I said, “Me, too! Protestant or Catholic?”
He said, “Protestant.”
I said, “Me, too! What franchise?”
He said, “Baptist.”
I said, “Me, too! Northern Baptist or Southern Baptist?”
He said, “Northern Baptist.”
I said, “Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist or Northern Liberal Baptist?”
He said, “Northern Conservative Baptist.”
I said, “Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region, or Northern Conservative Baptist Eastern Region?”
He said, “Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region.”
I said, “Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1879, or Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912?”
He said, “Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912.”
I said, “Die, heretic!” And I pushed him over.
Well add in the heresy of not being into BBQ… That just won’t fly in the South.
Political pandering to the Religious Right fanatics by GOP candidates. Carson is run over by everyone…and yet some say he is a great candidate. Where are the pollsters getting these people?
“I do not believe Sharia is consistent with the Constitution of this country,” he told The Hill late Sunday. “Muslims feel that their religion is very much a part of your public life and what you do as a public official, and that’s inconsistent with our principles and our Constitution.”
Hmmm. Sounds familiar, but not necessarily in association with Muslims.
If you ever want to make a fundamentalist’s head hurt after they claim “America is a Christian nation,” skip the history and facts about why it is not and just ask one question. Who decides? Who decides what version of Christianity were going to base all of our laws? Here’s a list of just the Baptist sub-denominations:

The trinity that denies women the right to lead over men…right wing christianity is so much about a small group of people in charge of all the other people…
I actually thought SBC considered 7th day adventist as a cult.
The loony lord-praisers fall upon one another, as Scripture requires.
“Excuse me. Are you the Judean People’s Front?”
“Fuck off! We’re the People’s Front of Judea!”
