Discussion for article #232779
What are the odds that Ben Carson would end up on this side of the crazy line compared to Christie and Paul on anything?
LOL
Clown car indeed.
He clarified his statement with:âI vaccine clean my carpet all the time. Sometimes the wife does it, too.â
You know youâve hit downtown crazyville when Ben Carson is the voice of reason. Are you listening Paul and Christie?
Itâs a sad state for the GOP when a Republican says something obvious and common sense - and itâs considered newsworthy.
âOf course people should have to get vaccine cleaners. How the hell else will they clean their carpets,â Carson asked?
Swear to fucking god, Iâd be a right winger if the left were really this disjointed.
Thank dog theyâre not.
There goes the nomination, but if this helps to prick the anti vaccination balloon. iâm going to send the man some flowers.
A real Doctor joins in putting down the fake doctors of the GOP. Only time I will praise Dr. Ben.
Stopped clock. Twice a day. We canât expect one sane statement is a harbinger with this guy.
Hello blind squirrel, say hi to this acorn.
Well, he may be as bat-shit crazy as the rest of them, but at least heâs not a libertarian.
Who is this person and what has he done with the real Dr. Ben Carson?
Well, there you go, congratulations Dr. Ben. In some alternative fantasyland where this issue is the only one the nation had to worry about looking forward, you might have just become my favorite Republican. In the meantime, how did we ever come to a point where this was even a partisan issue? Oh yeahâŚThe Libertarian/Republican nexus.
The Anti-Vaxxers remind me of the left shark at the Super Bowl.
Outside of his celebrity within the Republican Party, since thatâs all heâs been good for, who gives a fuck what a neurosurgeon thinks about vaccinations? This is as bad as people caring what that Paleo-Cardiologist (e.g. a heart doctor who thinks a healthy cardio system depends on eating like a fucking cave man!!) had to say about the issue. OK, they went through medical school, so theyâre probably more qualified than, say, your average college biology student, but other than that this perpetuates what normal college students call the Expert Opinion fallacy⌠just because youâre an expert in one thing doesnât mean youâre an expert in EVERYTHING.
Ugh.
Hint to Ben Carson: When individuals fail to make sense in areas that you know about, the likelihood is that they are failing to make sense in areas that you know nothing about. Put another way, never accept a used âfactâ from a fellow GOPer.
Now do you get why we think the group you are with is completely nuts?
Trying to come up with a few slogans for the movement:
âGive me measles, or give me death!â
âIâll give up my small pox when you pry it from these cold, dead handsâ
âGod, guns and pertussisâ
âCholera doesnât kill people, doctors kill people!â
Welp, Benâs had his bi-monthly attack of lucidity and common sense, so tomorrow the krazy dial will be turned up to 11 again. It was nice for a moment here, though.
