If there’s one thing he knows it’s medicine!
JFC
I thought it was a myth but there really IS such a thing as a soul!
I saw a guy on TV just sell his!
Just trying to give your campaign a “shot in the arm” eh Ben?? - - What a hypocrite —
The one thing I liked about him. Oh well…
So he is a politician after all.
I found Carson incredibly underwhelming in the debate tonight. The only thing I find at all appealing about him is his quiet, calm manner. He fumbled the foreign policy stuff to the point where I found myself feeling sorry for him.
Trump did his usual act… it’s not my thing, but I sort of get why a good number of Republicans love him – he is their Id, unchained. Carson…he’s kind of the anti-Trump in terms of his calm, unassuming presentation, but on policy he’s mostly vague and/or quirky, and in some cases just kinda nutty.
Carson’s answer on what he thought George W Bush should have done after 9/11 instead of go into Afghanistan did not go over well with this hawkish Republican crowd.
Meanwhile, Trump portrayed himself as the leader of the anti-war movement during the run-up to the Iraq war…funny thing is, I don’t have any recollection of that. Memory is such a tricky thing.
Jeez what’s next “Was Dr. Salk correct when he created the polio vaccine?” “Or a big government plot”?
In 1945 at Alamogordo, mankind forever traded away Superstition in favor of Reason.
In 2015, fucking morons like Carson are trying to trade it back.
I pretty much agree. Carson did himself no favors tonight, and will likely see the results of that in the next series of polls.
Trump was just as clueless on policy, but he was able to cover it better with his brashness. But it was pretty obvious, even to any GOPers that actually know something about any policy, that neither of these guys was prepared.
Yes, one thing Trump and Carson have in common, despite their radically different temperaments, is that they’re both just making it up as they go along. This does make both of them come across, at times, as more “real” than the other candidates, but it also leads to some moments that seem more surreal than real. They’re winging it, and it shows.
I am betting, however, that Trump actually does some prep work before the next debate. And, though it flew by the moderators heads I think, he committed to releasing an actual tax policy paper in the coming weeks.
Carson however, won’t even have done the math on his “tithe” program to know how much of a surplus or shortfall 10% makes.
And, that’s when all respect should disappear for this man. No decent physician would/should be “calculating” the optics on this. He is now one of those bad doctors - no credibility!
The two doctors Carson and Paul should have been unequivocal in their responses to the vaxxer conspiracy. Instead we got milquetoast. If they – especially Carson – can’t stand up to Donald on a factual lie, how are we to assume he has any courage to deal with anything else that’s much more consequential?
Personally, what you just said is the reason why I believe that IF Rump can get the nom, he’ll name him as his running mate.
