Discussion for article #228253

Andā€¦here is another reason why this man will never be president. Not even of the PTA.

Because all people make mistakes Dr. Carson, your solution to prevent those same mistakes from being repeated is to never talk about them. We should instead spends hours staring into mirrors lamenting how wonderful we are and how all the other countries are just jealous I suppose.

Either this man is performing the ultimate right wing troll job, or he is a sociopath whom has truly lost his mind. I am now firmly in the ā€œheā€™s a nutterā€ camp.

Itā€™s just this Palinesque, dumb-ass word salad with these people. They just pick a couple of keywords that their Neanderthal base will react to, string them together in things that sorta sound like sentences, then kick back and enjoy the Pavlovian applause.

Give this moron another month, and heā€™ll be stating that ā€œObamacare created ISISā€ or some other ridiculous crap.

Like Newt Gingrich, Carson is a stupid personā€™s idea of what a smart person sounds like.

Dang, I hope he did a better job reading whatever it took to earn his ā€œDoctorā€ credential, than what he read about the AP framework.

I donā€™t get what right wing idiots see in Dr. Carson. He says the most ridiculous things, and he has the excitement of a brick wall. Heā€™ll be lucky if he doesnā€™t bore enough GOPers to death come 2016 primary time.

Republicans think ā€œpatriotismā€ is a thing you create by lying to kids until they learn to lie to themselves.

Itā€™s like Al Franken said. Conservatives love America like a three year old loves itā€™s mommy. Liberals love America the way grown-ups love a spouse.

And now Iā€™m signing off because Iā€™ve had all I can take for one day of having my face forcefully rubbed into the extent to which one of our major political parties has become the party of homicidally belligerent cowardly infantilism.

Yes, this is the same man who launched his political career by attacking Obamaā€™s signature program at White House Prayer Breakfast. Thereā€™s nothing he wonā€™t say to red meat Republicans.

Blonde Jesus, not that darkie that the hippies keep pushing.

Iā€™m starting to think that Carsonā€™s most valuable contribution to the country will not be his excellent work in neurosurgery, but instead will be providing a prominent example demonstrating that a neurosurgeon who relies on himself for detection and diagnosis of problems has a fool for a patient.

A ā€œwhole section on slaveryā€. Yes, imagine that. So much time spent learning about a trivial matter of employer-labor relationships that had little impact on our country.

you might see it that way if you, like ben carson, were already favorably disposed toward fundamentalism.

ā€œHave we made mistakes as a nation? Of course we have. Why? Because weā€™re people. And all people make mistakes.ā€

ā€¦he continued: ā€œBut that doesnā€™t mean we shouldnā€™t ignore them and thereby repeat them. I mean, fucking christ, Iā€™m a black man so I think I can say all kinds of ridiculously offensive shit about slavery and, quite frankly, I think itā€™s my turn to be a bigot against people for onceā€¦like Muslims and fagsā€¦and Iā€™m goddamn sick of people holding up slavery and segregation to learn the childrenz that me discriminating against Muslims and fags is wrongā€¦not to mention cosmic hypocrisy.ā€

Be safe and well .

Looks like the TeaParty could afford a better ā€˜smartā€™ token.

I seem to remember that someone famous once said something about learning from history so you donā€™t repeat it, or something like thatā€¦But alas, it is now apparently forbidden for me to know who that was.

I see that there is no subject on which Dr. Carson is not ready to demonstrate his sad lack of knowledge.

Indeed. Deep breaths broā€¦sometimes taking a step back helps with the feeling of helplessness that accompanies the boundless outrage.

Please notice that Mr. Carson is smart enough to appear only in front of a friendly crowd and sycophantic pundits/interviewers. He never publicly puts himself in a spot where there might be pushback and exposure of his silly, uninformed opinions.
