Russian intelligence did manhandle her when she arrived in Moscow airport. She was stuffed into a wheelchair and imprisoned for several days. For some strange reason, she was released, expressed contrition, issued an apology and homage to Oleg Deripaska in an instagram video. She seem bruised and also appeared to have systemic inflammation.
Why did the Thai government send her to Moscow, instead of Belarus?

Is there a reason we haven’t seen this video? Did no one in the West get a copy of it before it was pulled down?
In theory, she was supposed to just pass through the Moscow airport on the way to Belarus. It wouldn’t surprise me if there’s no non-stop flight between Bankok and Minsk.
That said, she likely could have connected somewhere else, and I imagine someone with a Russian accent made sure the flight she was put on went through Russia.

I keep thinking that someday soon we are going to have a real Godfather moment when a whole group of these idiots in Trumps circle will all be reported dead from “heart issues” , tripping down flights of stairs, sitting on park benches in quiet little villages, shanked in prison, or suicide.

It’s worth noting that Russia explicitly guaranteed her safe passage then arrested her as she changed planes in Moscow.
She knows all about these oligarchs. And they know she knows. But now that they’ve put the fear of doG into her ….
Obviously she is saying whatever to save her life unless this is just some sideline drama in this miserable reality show we’re living in. She posted a lot of these videos on social media already, a long time ago, we’ve all seen them, so they’re are already out there. How was she able to keep them safe & with her during her ordeal in Thailand for 11 months in prison? She had to have left them with someone before going to Thailand. And, how was she able to post live on her phone while she was on the bus being transported to a Thai prison? Is this common while under arrested in Thailand? I would think not. So many off things in this story. I don’t see what assurances Deriposka could have no matter what she gave him. It’s also way too tidy for a Russian ending. We may never know, the Russians lie about everything.
She’s no safer in Belarus than Russia.
That the Thais were naive enough to trust Russian intelligence on this sensitive matter boggles the mind.
The Thai police probably couldn’t have cared less.
