Discussion: Barr To Congress: I Can Advise You On Mueller Conclusions As Soon As This Weekend

Yeah, I can’t see Barr willing to risk THAT much for Trump.

Many people believe that the president can’t be indicted by a federal prosecutor.

Barr will likely release to the public a highly-redacted version of the report, removing all references to illegal and unethical activities by Trump and his sons.
Then Donnie will hold it up and declare it to be “proof” that he did nothing wrong.

That’s been claimed about numerous people who were at first described as “the adults in the room.” One by one, they were swallowed up.

My only real hope is that one of the people who is disappointed with the report’s conclusions is Trump. I can see them already trying to change “the investigation did not pursue evidence of collusion by Trump” to “the investigation did not find evidence of collusion by Trump” (as if the distinction isn’t of considerable importance).

Still silent almost 24 hours later…

That’s my thinking too.

He’d already have tweeted out an entire magazine of NO COLLUSION if that’s what the report said.

A Trump administration official leaked information about Attorney General Bill Barr’s expected plans on the release of information from special counsel Robert Mueller’s report to Fox News on Saturday.

According to “an administration official familiar with the process,” Barr may release the main conclusions of Mueller’s report between three and five PM EST, Fox News reported.

“The Attorney General wants to get this out tonight,” the source said. “It will hit what is on everyone’s minds — no parsing of words, no games.”

Hmm
