What exactly is Barr buying time for? This burlesque routine with the report is unnerving. In looking at the statements he made, he is now not qualifying them when asked, deferring to after the report is released next week. I cannot see a reason that he cannot give a basic comment on his reasoning until after. This smells like a set up. It is drama for the sake of creating drama. Say it comes out that the report is wonderful and squeaky clean miraculously , then the Democrats have walked right into it. Time to be careful I think.

“Spying” implies subterfuge. This was not “Spying” it was SURVEILLANCE under an approved FISA warrant in an active “Counter-Intelligence Investigation”.
For the Attorney General of the United States of America to characterize this as “SPYING” shows what a Spineless Partisan Hack and Grovelling Trump Tool he actually is.

I don’t understand how Mueller and his team can remain silent in the face of what Barr is doing. Is anybody willing to uphold their oath of office? Where are today’s patriots? We’re witnessing a coup in real time. Unbelievable.
Many thousands of men have died in service to this country. Yet nobody is now willing to even speak publicly about what they know. It’s time, gentlemen. Step up and do the right thing.

Unless you mean killing millions of innocents, destroying their country, making all remaining citizens homeless and victims of the surviving powers ‘backfiring’. That is something a lot of people have not grasped. Today, they are willing to simply call the laws and norms stupid and do what they wish. Watching Mnuchin’s behavior is very much that. People call him arrogant. True. But the real take is he simply will not recognize any established authority over him. His world as well as Trump’s is all that counts. Trump’s era is literally working to invalidate the entire premise in which we live. However, that can also work against them. It is fine to dance around people and play them for fools. They are expecting the reaction of people who are struggling to follow the norms as they would normally do. But wait till those fools wise up and play the game against them. This is what needs to happen. Until then, we are all chumps.
