Well…yeah. That was the whole point.
Yipppee, you are back!
So Kellyanne now says the report is “the gold standard.” We really really need to see the report. I wonder what she’ll say when it’s all out there. Fool’s gold at best.
I’m waiting for the inevitable self-own when one of them gets a doc and releases it in full because there’s a sentence in the first paragraph that kinda sorta makes President Obama look bad, and it turns out that paragraphs 3-25 clearly show direct malfeasance by several agents in the Trump Campaign. I would bet on Paul being the leaker, but there are several worthy candidates who could supplant him.
Best part about this is that the only people who know about these theories are part of the Deep State.
Ridiculous statements.
Ridiculous.
The Barr Report has badly damaged Trump. The public have decided he’s a crook and they’re not going to listen to any of these frothy mouthed conspiracy theories.
Let’s play the Blame Game. Apparently the Rethugs are too stupid to realize if King Dumb Dumb wasn’t in the WH none of this would have happened.
Glad you’re back, @pluckyinky! We missed you!
“John Solomon: As Russia Collusion fades, Ukrainian plot to help Clinton emerges.”
John Solomon, of the Uranium One conspiracy and also the Executive Vice President of Digital Video at thehill.com (among the many reasons to boycott that site). Any media/journalism organization that is willing to employ someone like Solomon, let alone elevate them to management, is largely responsible for what’s wrong in this country.
Welcome back
This discussion of a black-box report that we can’t see is fruitless. A perverse result is that Democrats are back to talking about issues. I’ve heard really interesting ideas such as Warren’s idea of regulating large tech ecosystems as utilities, OAC’s call for a green economy, or an incremental roll-out of Medicare for All, much like Finland rolled out dental coverage for all after bracketing the working population and covering all older and younger people, then shifting the caliper every year.
PS: The land-value tax discussion is also back as affordable housing has returned to the fore.
This is all they have now, lies and conspiracy theories. They sicken me.
The Republicans are like a Far Side calendar.
Every day is a mix of new surrealistic memes, improbable recitation of events, uncomfortable social (and policy) situations, and imagined impending disasters.
Except Far Side was funny … and enjoyable.
“frothy-mouthed vindication” When you won one and know you really didn’t.
For people who might have had the upper hand again, they are letting it run through their fingers like water.
Just wait, it’ll get much, much worse.
@pluckyinky Is it actually you back safe and sound, or did Nunes confiscate your account to infiltrate the TPM boards?
Still looks pretty opaque and shiny from here. In fact, it sounds even louder. Same controversy but with more intrigue.
Translation: They know Barr’s “summary” is a lie and they don’t want anyone to see it. If the media sees all the evidence Mueller found, the game is up and they’ll act shocked for a few minutes until Republicans distract them with something shiny and we’re all supposed to forget they’re lying liars with zero credibility.
I can see Trump like the cartoon with the dog being reprimanded. The first panel with a description of the Mueller Report: The Mueller Report shows that the Trump Campaign engaged in numerous bad acts. Trump and his cohort repeatedly interacted with agents of foreign countries and Trump did not take measures to avoid appearances of conflicted loyalties.
The second panel (What Trump hears): …Trump…Trump…Trump…
