That’s why the republicans started Tuesday with a 66-34 advantage in the legislature. /snark
Steve, Steve, Steve. You have the money. Do some shopping.

I get the snark, but in reality that split is more a reflection of how effectively gerrymandered the Virginia legislative districts are.
Even on Tuesday Virginia Democrats had a nine-point advantage in votes yet the legislature will be 50/50.
Funny it’s the home of the Capital of the Confederacy.
Bannon’s shenanigans plus Donnie’s underbusTweeting® spell big trouble for the GOP getting candidates to run next year. Unless he’s not around…
Yep, and I think the Democrats will not have that problem. I think results like Tuesdays will have more folks taking the chance on elective office.
This is good for the party, we need fresh blood.
If the DNC does not pick favorites in primaries and allows it to happen organically I believe that the primary voters will pick the best candidates
So proud of the women of Virginia who ran, campaigned, canvassed, and voted. Women are the backbone of the Democratic party, especially women of color. Anyone who tries to throw their rights under the bus to appeal to white men will see true fury.
Bannon will admit he was wrong on the same day that Donnie Two Scoops will: the 12th of Never.
And Bannon is a very red-faced man.
And, he’s getting laaaarger!
Blithering bullshit by Bannon.
I’ll have a baloney milkshake to go with that nothing burger Steve!
Lawrence O’Donnell had a great blast on Bannon last night. He showed Bannon on Fox yesterday telling some twit that Gillespie’s problem was that he didn’t embrace Trump’s agenda. He then showed Bannon on Saturday, as the polls appeared to be tightening, telling some twit on Fox that the reason the polls were tightening was because Gillespie had finally embraced Trump’s agenda. When asked to explain that contradiction, David Frum noted that “he doesn’t use words the same way we do.”
Indeed.
Oh, yeah. And later last night Trevor Noah showed Hannity’s in depth analysis on Tuesday of the GOP disaster in Virginia and what it might mean for Trump. As Carlson handed off to Hannity at 9, Sean said "A shocker, Republicans suffered some losses in the Blue states of Virginia and New Jersey. President Trump in Seoul said . . . " The Daily Show clock showed this took 5.8 seconds, which was Hannity’s only comment on the elections that night.
People who rely on Fox for their news simply have no idea what’s going on. Looks like those man on the street interviews with North Koreans in Pyongyang.
Unrepentant, corpulent alcoholic says what?
Virginia is indeed a blue state. Thanks, Steve!
Didn’t Bannon have “the numbers” before the election? Given the fact that VA used paper ballots, it would appear the GOP didn’t have a chance to fix this particular election. Wisconsin, Ohio and Pennsylvania in 2016? Different story…they simply can’t win honestly, so they cheat. I can’t wait to see what happens in Alabama.
Who cares what that gasbag says?
That guy on the street in Pyongyang probably knows more about what happened Tuesday than Fix Schmooze viewers.
Also, there are a lot of federal employees living in Virginia. Trump and his administration are very anti-government and ignorant of how to run the federal government - and the family is corrupt. It has to be horrible to be a fed since Nov 2016. It’s not easy (if you care about what you’re doing) even when there’s a democrat in the White House. It’s impossible now. I assume the vast majority of federal workers who voted in Virginia were anti-Trump - especially the women and minorities. Thanks, folks.
It is not Trump’s fault, it’s his predecessors.
