I have a friend who is a state Senator here in my district in AZ. He feels heās sometimes a lone voice of reason up there. Heās got far more patience than I ever will. He is on committees made up of both parties and sometimes the democrats arenāt even told a meeting is scheduled or where it would be held.
Right now thereās a push in the Leg. to allow concealed carry on school grounds. Dumb Stupid move if ever there was one. This includes colleges. And it makes me very glad indeed I am now retired out of my medical school teaching gig. I do not want to be around some yahoo slopehead who thinks with his hogleg. AZ is not the wild west anymore (but the Leg. cannot get that thru their skulls) I think itāll take a massive tragedy for the AZ leg. to see reason. I hate to say that but itās the truth. Example A lady member from Jerome, AZ was known to carry concealed to her office in the capitol. A reported quizzed her about it so she took the pistol out to show him and BANG! it fired accidentally. The bullet went thru a bookcase and lodged in the wall of an adjacent office which luckily was unoccupied at the time. She was so unnerved by this she now leaves that pistol at home where it belongs.

Hell yeah! This is being proposed by a REPUBLICAN elected official from a red state. I hope it catches on! Imagine if all the states where the GOP rules the statehouses got involved, and the Dems in other states joined inā¦just for fun! This would really be something, but time isnāt on their side, as the Primary calendar is rather short now.

The real problem for that Teddy Cruz is that he renounced his Canadian citizenship only 18 months ago.
It is also not clear that momma Cruz was a US citizen at the time of Teddyās birth. She had used her Canadian citizenship to sponsor Rafael, her baby daddy, for Canadian citizenship. She could have sponsored him for US citizenship. Little Teddy was planned as a Canadian anchor baby for his father.
It is a stretch to call Teddy Cruz a US citizen at birth given the specific language of the foreign citizen law that requires the Father to be a US citizen.
It is not sufficient to meet the citizenship standard to be president. You have to be a Natural Born Citizen standard. Very simply, Ted Cruz does not meet the Natural Born citizen standard required.

Can they spell legal precedent? Over 200 years and the clear intention of the founding fathers: born on US land or territory to a US citizen.
If Criz was born in Iraq to a mom in the US military and an Iraqi Sunni father would he be eligible to run?

Ironically, much like Carnival Cruzās custom engraved over-under shotgun which looks like itās never been fired, the Colt single-action revolver is a perfectly sensible weapon. If legitimate hunters, marksmen and self-defenders restricted themselves to revolvers and shotguns, the world would be a better place on so many different levels.
