Discussion for article #226979
He tried to take her gun, so she shot him.
Whatâs wrong with that?
Bucket list? Poor choice of words.
I watched that interview and almost fell out of my chair when he said they have first aid kits in case someone is injured.
How many 9-year-olds keep a âbucket listâ?
âThis was a very mature young lady and something she wanted to do and her parents were treating her,â Scarmardo said. âYou know this was a big, something that was high on her bucket list to do.â
On the instructorâs bucket list, not so much.
I wonder what their liability insurance is like? Do you even need to carry insurance at a gun range, or are they a protected class of 2nd amendment based businesses?
He meant her parentsâ âbucket list.â
Idiot.
Maybe 9 is a bit young for a bucket list. Maybe just because a 9 year old wants to shoot a machine gun they shouldnât be allowed to? But then I am just an old fashioned guy who thought machine guns were illegal for the public to mess with.
What the fuck is wrong with these people? Seriously!
Well, if they donât carry insurance, theyâre idiots.
Only the armed ones keeping our nation proud and free from shooting instructors.
Hi again everyone, Iâm William Billy âWild Billâ Hicks, welcome to this weekâs edition of Death Alley Days.
Following our string of No Survivors hits, like
âNo Survivors Aurora: In A Crowded Theaterâ,
âNo Survivors Arizona: A Congresswoman & All Near Herâ,
and especially our boffo smash hit,
âNo Survivors Connecticut: Primary School Specialâ,
we make a return of sorts to our roots in
âLetâs Shoot And Kill Abortion Providersâ,
with tonightâs encore in our new series,
âLetâs Shoot And Kill Supposedly Responsible Adult Gunnies With Semi-Automatic Hand-Helds Just A Bit Outside The Ability Of Anyone To Handle: Kidsâ Specialâ.
Since children with guns are more likely to die prematurely maybe having a bucket list is a good idea.
So heâs making plans for the future? Cool, but Iâm pretty sure the lawsuit will bankrupt him, and if not, his insurance rates are going through the roof âŚ
Bullets and Burgers Adventure?
I can only imagine THEIR drive-thru.
Fully automatic weapons, silencers, and other weapons like them are regulated, but not illegal. You have to get a special license from the BATF, pay a âfeeâ for each and every weapon or device (suppressor, etc) you build and/or buy.
The weapon used by the girl is owned by either the range or the owner of the range (no article says who), who paid the fees, got the license and now allows anyone with $$$ to shoot the weapon at his range.
The instructor SCREWED up and it cost him his life. He should have been controlling the weapon with his hand on TOP, not underneath. His own actions caused his death.
Parents signed a waiver and the actions (or lack thereof) of the âinstructorâ is what allowed the accident to happen. The video is out there for all to see (cut short of the actual brains going all over the place).
The family of the âinstructorâ might find a lawyer to sue, but it will be a hard case to win with the video clearly showing the instructor didnât control the weapon properly (Hand on TOP, not underneath).
Total MISCHOICE of entire concept. The idea of a âbucket listâ is youâve reached a point in life where youâre headed out to that pasture in the sky but first thereâs a few things youâd like to try so you can report to St. Peteâs auditors WTF you did to justify your miserable otherwise pointless and wasted existence.
Actually, itâs a good thing this guy was killed. Six years ago, an 8 year-old boy was given an Uzi to shoot at a Massachusetts gun club abd killed himself After such an incident, anybody handing a child such a weapon is a criminal. This guy was a tragedy in the making; weâre all lucky the tragedy happened to him and not to the little girl or anybody else. Sheâs suffering the trauma of being the innocent victim of his negligent stupidity, which is bad enough, but at least sheâs alive.
