Yup, thatâs my stupid GOP controlled state legislature. Arizona! Itâs a dry hate.
Why wasnât Syms censured as well? Sheâs the one who included the racial slur in her column in the first placeâŚ
Well played, sir. A fresh and hilarious twist on an oft-used adage! You might just get credit for inventing a new saying!
âThe only two black members of the Arizona Legislature were formally chastised for speaking out against a Republican lawmakerâs published column, which included a racial slur they say derided black activists while attempting to discredit leaders of a teacher group protesting for better pay.â
I expected GOP attempts to discredit impoverished school teachers as âgreedy union goonsâ.
But I hoped we might be spared the âviolent âblahâ thugs endangering white studentsâ narrative.
I shouldâve known better.
Majority Republicans voted to formally rebuke Bolding as well as the only other black member of the Legislature, Democratic Rep. Geraldine Peten, âŚ
, for being âuppityâ and ânot knowing their placeâ.
Please. We must have civility. At least from n*****s.
There is no shortage in the legislature of the state wherein you and I reside.
I should be surprised but Iâm not at the antics up in Phoenix. There has been a lotta worse stuff. Sadly the denizens of the halls and meeting rooms of the Capitol reflect a large portion of the folk that inhabit Arizona ⌠otherwise those clowns would not get elected. One would think by now we would be past racial/racist attitudes but this state is every bit as racist as Alabama or Georgia.
