I can’t believe how much I hate this doddering old fascist and what he represents.

These soulless proto-humans are making me more cynical and despairing of humanity than any time in history.

How is this different than what they accuse Obama of doing – selectively enforcing laws?

The United States Congress had directed that certain things be done, and McConnell is saying that the United States Congress will refuse to allow the President to spend money doing these things.

If McConnell and the GOP really oppose the things they want to defund then they should just change the laws that authorize them.

If they don’t have the votes to change the laws, then they are simply forcing the President to violate the law.

Well, if the Democrats don’ t show up at the polls, this is what they will get and it’s not like they weren’t told. I am so sick and tired of hearing about GOP waves and how energized and angry at Obama the GOP base is, blah, blah blah. The voters have the ability to shut down the GOTP insanity. If they choose not to do it, they get what they deserve. Unfortunately, so do the rest of us.

Can someone tell me why the campaign of Ms. Grimes isn’t already on the air with an ad highlighting how bad this is for KY? Why isn’t Ms. Grimes going out with ad’s that point out McConnell is already bought and paid for by the Koch Bros.?

Hit HARD, NOW !

Grimes is campaigning like a candidate who knows she is going to lose and wants to keep her options open for later contests, having done reasonably well in this one.

Quite honestly, I think all this bullshit will be null and void when Obama makes his move on the Dreamers. When he issues the order to stop deporting Dreamers in Sept., the RWNJ base and all the looney toon extras: Gohmert, Bachman, Stockman, Braun, etc are going to force Boehner to put impeachment up for a vote. When that happens, this idea that the Rs are going to take the Senate will be over.

And just like when Dubya was caught with his thumb up his pre-warned ass, ISIS will attempt a domestic attack during McConnell’s shut-down…

She IS hitting him hard. You can’t expect her to have a campaign ad up 45 minutes after the story broke. Give her some time. She’s campaigning all over the state and giving it hell.

And, frankly, airing these remarks wouldn’t necessarily help Grimes. It could actually help McConnell. Going after the EPA is incredibly popular in KY.

That’s absolutely not at all what I’m seeing here in Kentucky. Not in the least.

This is strictly a money raising scheme. McConnell knows that shutdowns are dumb as can be and produce zero. He also knows that his financiers have way more money than brains and will give based on a shred of hope. They aren’t threatening anything that resembles governance that’s for sure and yet the 1%ers keep trying. Because they aren’t after governance, they want control and are more than willing to just buy it.

Impeach, lawsuit, shutdown, these are Republican standards and are purely negative.
Negatives attract only losers. McConnell knows he is on the losing side but figures, why not make a few bazillion bucks while getting trounced.

I’m so very torn on this. In states like GA and KY, it could really hurt the Democratic Senate candidates if the president does something that helps brown people. It gives Republican candidates in red states something new rail against. I’d prefer it if President Obama waited until the day after the election.

Script for next Grimes ad:

And we’re not going to be debating all these gosh darn proposals. That’s all we do in the Senate is vote on things like raising the minimum wage … extending unemployment … the student loan package … These people believe in all the wrong things.

He does the work for them.

and then

and lord knows what she said to Tom Steyer and anti-coal billionaires when she …

So he says stuff to billionaires in private and then complains about what she might be saying to billionaires in private…

McConnell is a sick little man suffering from a peculiar form of mental derangement, and he leads a screeching, blubbering, giggling pack of politicians with a similar derangement.

If there is a more loathesome character in the U.S. Senate, I’m not sure who that might be. McConnell is bought and paid for by the Koch Brothers, and the sooner the voters of Kentucky realize this, the better off we will all be. I would personally volunteer to be the first to punch this turkey-necked ignoramus in the face; unfortunately, I wouldn’t be able to spend any time in jail serving time for assault. Mitch is an absolute cancer and needs to be excised from the body politic.

Finally something about the highjacking of the democratic by the likes of billionaires like the Koch bros. I can only hope this trend continues to be exposed for what it really is.
