Discussion: Attorney: Texas Cop Apologized, 'Regrets' Actions On Pool Party Call

Are the McKinney police not unionized? Such a speedy resignation is unheard of here.

I’d bet you a dozen donuts this guy is a famous hothead within the department and has frequently been a problem.

I have a lot of cop friends and they talk about cops like him. How they dread them showing up on such calls, etc.

PS. The video phone is transforming our society. Truly amazing.

McKinney police officer Eric Casebolt on Wednesday
said that “he apologizes to all who were offended” by his actions…

Offended?
What about those assaulted or threatened you jack^ss?
A half-dozen civil suits would surely give him a more tangible level of regret-- no?

“He allowed his emotions to get the better of him,”

Translation = He let his true feelings come out and turned into action.

Unionized? Dude, this guy was a union rep. Seriously and for real. And of course he was, because the most belligerent asswipe in the department is always the union rep.

And as much as dealing with a suicide call or two would take a toll, and I believe it would, I have to wonder why that would make him angry at young black girls…

Maybe we’re being too harsh. I know when I’ve had to deal with traumatic events, the only thing I want to do is be physically and verbally abusive to a scantily clad fourteen year old girl. Nothing else but exerting dominance, inflicting pain and generally feeling up an utterly powerless bikini-wearing teenage girl can make me feel better.

Well, the white kid with the camera said he was ignored because he was white. He said it was like he was invisible. He also said:

“I was one of the only white people in the area when [the arrest] was
happening,” Brooks said. “You can see in part of the video where [an
officer] tells people to sit down and kind of skips over me and tells my
African-American friends to go sit down,” Brooks said.
“I think it’s horrible,” Brooks said. “They’re going to discriminate
against them just because they’re black? What if that was your kid
getting slung to the ground? Would you still be talk about them in the
way that you are if that was your kid?”

“Waaaaah, I received death threats.”

Shutup biotches. Until you live in a world where visual contact with the people whose sole job is to protect you is a “death threat,” you don’t get to complain.

Hey didn’t you know Sean Hannity and his black man servant that David what’s his face guy were totally cool with his actions, he has Hannity’s support.

To be fair, admissions against interest aren’t exactly a great idea prior to any confirmation of whether charges will be forthcoming. I mean, yeah, when some politician says something horrifyingly stupid about women and rape or whatever, he’s got no excuse for not taking full responsibility for his actions, but you have to admit there’s a wee bit of a difference when there may be criminal charges in the works.

In light of that, I think the criticism more to the point is that if you can’t offer a real apology…and nobody gives a fuck why you can’t…don’t give one, and instead just fuck off, never show your face again and die quietly. Because really, more than anything else, this was just about this woman he hired calling up local media and offering a press conference so she could get some face time.

And I regret that I want people to …

Well it would be much better if he received death actions that I could post for all to enjoy

Did that sleazy lawyer also apologize for the incident in 2008 that got Casebolt sued for racial profiling?

He also had a civilian complaint in '08 which led to a federal lawsuit for humiliating a black man who he stopped in the company of two white women. That seems pertinent now.

Oh well hell, REGRETS…that’s enough for us, right Lurline?

This man has clearly suffered enough, and the dumb niCLANGs that hurt his feelings should be whipped and thrown in jail for the distress he’s suffered…

My impression is that it was scheduled as a P.R./jury pool poisoning stunt before they sat down with the Chief, city manager, city attorney, and, for all I know, the D.A., and learned just exactly how thoroughly screwed he was if he didn’t accept their generous (and it was) offer of being allowed to resign. And then they couldn’t just walk away.

But, yeah, a big cup of STFU would have served him better than opening up this sack of stinky weasels.
