Headline says unproven allegations, story says phony scandal. Seems to be a gap in headline vs content… Just saying.
Hugin’s ad claims as fact that “underage girls” accused Menendez of hiring them for sex, and that “President Obama’s Justice Department” sat on “evidence” that the New Jersey Democrat had done so.
As a NY’er, I’ve also seen Hugin’s ads. He is a real piece of sh*t. Not only does he attack Menendez for whatever allegations have been brought against him, he also plays the racism card by bringing President Obama into them. Not only do you see scary Hispanic man running for re-election, but Hugin also ties him to scary Black man, as well. The ads have been running since August and they’ve just gotten worse as time has gone on. It’s a testament to how well Hugin believes he’s doing with the Jersey electorate.
This is one of those races that shouldn’t make us feel nervous, but – yeah, I can’t say I’m feeling comfortable.
Saw the ad yesterday on the Philly news… I don’t think Menendez can let this slide… he has to challenge this, this is way closer to slander than anything that is said against tRump
These type of sexually salacious attacks are only effective against Democrats. Republicans are seemingly immune.
Yes - Hugin is every bit of the sleazy underhanded schmuck that he has been trying to hide from the public.
My recollection of the underage prostitute stories at the time is that they were refuted. So to say they are unproven gives them the benefit of a no longer existing doubt.
