The al Jazeera story is pretty clear. This is was a case of two policemen not realizing they were dealing with a dangerous person, and treating her too casually.
They nearly paid for their carelessness with their lives. Sometimes the police have to shoot back.

what a laugh. if this story’s true, the cops created the situation to begin with by not following procedures and having an armed arrested person in the police car.
They can’t follow seat belt laws, they can’t follow unlawful arrest laws, now they can’t handcuff people and check them for weapons. Is there any law cops can actually follow themselves too?
