Off topic. An important message from GOP Jesus:
Honest, officer, the harder I stepped on the brake the faster it went!
“No muslims aboard, so not terror”
Wow, parking must be really bad at the Egg Harbor SSA office.
Not to come off as ageist but perhaps people need to retake an annual driving test after they reach a certain age. I recall my dad making the decision to surrender his drivers license at the age of 79. He knew he was no longer healthy enough to make quick decisions and act accordingly. Tough choice for a strong man who had been so independent, so in charge, his entire life.
I once witnessed an elderly woman in the car in front of me accelerate straight at the brick wall of our local post office. Luckily some shrubbery cushioned the crash, and her airbag deployed. She wasn’t seriously injured, but I hope she decided to stop driving after that.
Yikes. Praise the shrubbery!
Right away I need to know if the driver is Republican or Democrat. It’s how I judge everything these days.
Where I live there are many such accidents and near accidents because of seniors at the wheel. There should be increased testing for drivers over 70.
Similar story with my Dad. He was in his late 70s and drove his very low mileage 1974 Oldsmobile 98 LS luxo-cruiser through the back wall of his garage. We retired him from driving after that.
He was fine with that.
When we moved to Iowa, I was getting my IA driver’s license and an older man was getting ready to take an eye test. The woman told him to look into the machine and tell her to acknowledge when he saw a blinking light.
He looked at her and said, “What machine?”
perhaps you should go and serve the knights who say ‘ni’
Hark! Are you a shrubber?
oh what sad times are these. even those who arrange and design shrubberries are under economic difficulty at this period in history
